Arrived promptly. Exactly what was needed - a compact design, a heavy base, stable. Looks pro.
BRANDON ILEY
Base is not heavy enough for my Mic so keeps tipping over
John Johnson
Bought this for a musician friend who uses it for a percussion box (cavon ). It’s sturdy and portable.

Definitely a substantial, strong, and sturdy mic stand. It could use a better finishing process. There are some divots in the metal. The flat black paint job makes it less attractive than it could’ve been. For an item that sits on a desk For long periods should look good.
matthew barlow
Desk stand is heavy and won’t get pushed over easily. The adapter fit perfectly wit other equipment I already have
Archie Hutchinson
Doesn't offer much height or reach but is well made and adequately adjustable using knobs and collars to tighten. Cost's more than the mic and xlr cables I'm using it with but offers good value and aesthetics. Added some 2.5lbs barbell weights to the shaft/base to keep it stable at full extension. Would buy again for light tabletop use.
Kyerr Pabriaga
Extremely sturdy and made of great materials
Kenix Wong
Generally pretty sturdy, holds a microphone well. A little wobbly with heavy objects but not too bad.
Simon Gittens
Good quality stand

I am very satisfied with this purchase...no complaints
Gary Cole
I bought this stand to mic up my Boss katana 100 amp. The height is good and it hold up my sm57 quite steadily to the amp. Would definitely recommend ????????
Mark Welsby
I decided to up my game on remote meetings. This mic stand was very easy to set up and test to determine the best position. It must work, because I went from people telling me that they had a hard time hearing me to compliments on the quality of my audio. Two thumbs up!!
Mira Marton
I had a tripod stand that cost as much and ended up hunched over. This stand allows me to sit upright and doesn’t tip over easily. Wish I would have bought this one first!
Anastasija Tkacuka
I have 2 now. Great product.
Aaron Lowe
I love it. Was able to connect it to my Rode podmic
Catherine Slater
I love this microphone stand, it is adjustable which makes it perfect and the base has some weight to it which provides stability and sturdiness to the stand. It will take a force to move it around. The microphone grip is firm and will hold the mic in place even when adjusting it. I love this stand.
Conor jones
I love this thing. It sits on my desk for virtual teaching and it’s awesome. Small footprint on my desk and it is incredibly sturdy. The baseplate is solid and the boom is really well made.
Jeanne Perry
I needed a short stand to mic my Marshall guitar cabinet which sits on the floor. The boom is long enough to allow me to position the mic where it needs to be without being in the way. The sleeve to tighten the extension seems like it could be a better but time will tell. It also has a fairly small footprint which is good.
William Ledgerton
I purchased this stand to be used by a trivia DJ. The stand is very well built and of high quality, but the base needs to be heavier or elongated on one side such that it will hold the weight of a wireless microphone. If you use a lighter wired mic it's plenty sturdy at full horizontal extension, but wants to tip over with a mild horizontal extension using a wireless mic. I believe the listing does specify a weight capacity, but I don't think most of us go around weighing our microphones.
Thomas Duffy
I purchased two of these puppies to holds mics in front of my Marshall speaker cabinet, so I can record my guitar tracks. When they arrived and I unboxed them, I was immediately impressed by the weight and quality of the stands. Being a boom stand, I was able to easily reach both the top and bottom row of speakers in my 4x12 cabinet and they held the mics and their weight, no problem. I used Shure 57 and 58 and a few different condenser mics and they had no problem holding the weight and remaining stable. Quality build and great stand. Recommended!!
melding stephen
I use it on my desk and it's a great product. Very heavy.
Chanelle Tomlinson
I use this stand as a snare bottom mic and it works great!
Andrew Small
I use this stand to mic a stand-up piano. The stand is very sturdy and the base heavy.
Georgina Hutson-Orgill
I was surprised by the quality of the stand. I use it to mike out my amp when my band has a gig. I would recommend it.
Fae Ashurst
I wish the base was heavier. A large mic can cause it to tip over.
Amie Bearcroft
I wish the tightening of joints was better, decent stand though
Richard Burnett-Hall
It does what it’s supposed to do!
Allan Large
It is nice and heavy. It feels like metal... but if you put to much weight in the front it will tip forward and fall. If didn’t happened , then I would give it 5 stars. It is worth the money.
Venugopalarao Linga
It works great for my sm57 ?? The connections need to lock in place better, but overall it does what its supposed to and with a weighted base keeps it upright
Megan Sawyers
It works great, however it does tip over with heavier mics.
Csaba Ferencz
It’s a fine stand for a light microphone. It doesn’t do a great job with a heavy mic.
Ian Macclesfield
It's a great little stand for the desk.
Paul Nica
It's a perfect size, I use it to mic up my guitar cabinet and it's perfect.
David Madgwick
It's exactly what I needed.
Harrison Sealey
its great to have a little mic stand, with the boom even cooler.. but it won't hold Shure kick drum mic without some weight (sandbag) but other than that its solidly built, easy to adjust, and very compact... great for mic'ing a kick drum (with sandbag!!) or under a snare drum guitar amp desk mic... really good to have around, its a good little stand.
David Teasdale
I've owned this for a few months now and it's been serving me well. Just know that even though the mic arm has a decent length, moving it too far out from base will cause the stand to be slightly off-balance.
James Short
Just as described.
Walter Todd
Just what I needed for my Snowball mic.
Sarah McAnulty
Love the sturdiness and stability of this mic stand. It’s is a really quality product for the price!
Matthew Livesey
Love this product highly recommend
Daniel Francis
Nice desktop mic stand. Great for a podcast setup. Base is relatively heavy so the mic won't easily tip over.
Tony Newman
Nice product. Not as sturdy as I would like, as it tends to tip over if your mic is on the heavier side. I am using a Snowball mic!with a filter screen, and it has tipped over a few times. Otherwise, this is a pretty decent mic stand.
Josh Bloor
Nice solid build quality. Heavy base and clamp grip is tight. Adjustable boom is very helpful for perfect mic placement. Ideal for my home studio setup.
Lorna Virr
Perfect desktop stand when you need a little tilt and would rather not use a gooseneck.
Vicky Navneet
Perfect for doing Pidcast
Cheek Richard
Perfect for my needs!
Andrew Powell
Perfect for the event we had. Sturdy and good height when using in a table.
A Rodgers
Product is reliable got the job done perfect for table use
anthony pentland
Really great mini mic stand for filming on the floor. The gold adapter piece fits my blue yeti perfectly. The only thing is that it leans over if the boom arm is angled with the mic on it. For me, this isn’t a big issue because I want my mic to be facing straight up anyway. But I can see this being an issue for someone who wants their mic at an angle.
Claude Naviliat
Really love the small style.
Mark Peacock
Really perfect for singers or bloggers or vloggers who use a desk or sit on the floor to use this microphone stand. Really good addition to my studio
Kyle HUMPHREYS
Solid base. Does it's job.
Paul Hannaford
Solid mic stand, perfect size for my desk, quite stable (within reason of course)
John Campbell
Strong and quality and am just glad I had one
Billie Jo Stokes
Sturdy good material
Tim Canfer
Sturdy, very stable.
Usmaan Malik
Sturdy. does the job of holding a SM57 in front of my amp for recording.
Amélie BRUHAT
The build quality is pretty good. Setup was easy. The only complaint I have is that sometimes if I bump it a little bit, it tips over which isn’t that big of a deal.
Michael Roe
The good: very nice materials, looks great, very easy to adjust. The bad: I bought this for a Shure MV7 which has to be screwed in at the end of the mic stand. Even keeping the best center mass in mind when adjusting, it's still prone to tipping. If only the base was a bit heavier, wider, or had a rubber ring instead of feet. I can't even imagine trying to attach a full size blue yeti to this without it being impossible to stay upright.
Emily Mallinson
The media could not be loaded. Great product I would recommend Putting the rubber all the way around the base. To stop it from rocking otherwise great I love it
Lilith Morris
The media could not be loaded. I think this would work well with a regular lighter dynamic mic. I tried it with a 1lb condenser mic and cage and it tilts over. I didn't receive the free 3/8 to 5/8 conversion adapter piece in the box, but was lucky to have an extra one at home.
Ms Intisar Ahmed
The mic holder is very sturdy. Was easy to put together.
Lisa Mitchell
The quality of the stand is great for the price. I got 3 and they have all been sturdy throughout many adjustments.
Darren Fewings
The stand could not hold my relatively lightweight mic when fully extended, but at around half extended it’s plenty sturdy. Heavier mics might have trouble with stability. But for what it’s worth, it gets the job done. Nice and compact on my desk. I love it
Mc Crea Ann
The stand itself is made out of metal with some plastic components which is perfectly fine. It feels like a quality product but unfortunately it's a bit too top heavy when you put on a mic. I'm using the Hyperx solocast , which is by no means is a heavy/big mic, and it barely manages to stay up. So if you have anything bigger than that then I wouldn't recommend getting this as it probably will be too top heavy. But obviously this depends on how you have the mic hand angled. This isn't too big of an issue either since the bottom of the stand is hollowed out a bit so you could easily add some type of counter weight on the bottom , if you can manage to attach it somehow. Overall it's honestly a great stand for the price and I highly recommend it.
Sheung Chan
The stand works well with a heavy condenser mic. Build quality is solid an all the adjustment fit well
Rev James Liddle
The stand would work best for a traditional microphone alone. When adding an exterior cage of my Rode-1, Additional weight was needed for balance.
CARLOS LACRUZ
This is a great desk mic stand. I love the weighted base plate, which gives great stability. Recommend.
Paul McKenny
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Keiron Bint
This is exactly what I needed, and it works very well. I just use a standard mic in it. It does want to topple if it’s not sitting on a flat surface, or if the table gets bumped hard enough. The plastic knobs feel kinda cheap, but I’m just being careful to not over tighten. For a cheaper stand, this is perfect and worth it.
Paul Townsend
This is exactly what our church was needing for the kick drum. Worked great
Jon Neal
This is great for recording a amp or doing a pod cast. Does not come with a condenser mic adapter though. But all and all a good product
Emma Chapman
This is just right for the desk. I didn’t want the scissor book mic set up, and this was a great option. Sturdy and heavy. Good adjustment options too.
Darren TULLOCK
This is the ONLY mic stand that truly fit my needs, to place my microphone directly behind and above my computer monitor. Perfect for my needs. Highly recommended.
Chloe Coe
This is worked for us. It has a tough time With heavy Mics but it works. I also converted it to a camera stand by switching out some components.
Patrick Shepherd
This mic stand is good and heavy. However, if you have a heavy condenser mic this may tilt over on you so be careful. It's very sturdy and will work good for my desk
Kian Watson
This review is for the Moukey MMS-5 Desk Mic Stand What I like about this mic stand far exceeds what i don't like. What I like: The Moukey MMS-5 Desk Mic Stand is small enough to fit closely and mic an amp. The moving parts function reliably well. Knobs and boom harness are plastic, but they are well formed and finished. The base, vertical post, and boom arm are metal. I also have one of these mic stands at my computer with an Audio-Technica at2020 USB mic for zooming. Most other portable boom mic stands have long boom arms that get in the way of other wiring/equipment considerations. I bought 2 of these moukeys, then I bought 2 more when I realized the advantage for using with guitar amplifiers. I'm planning to buy another. What I don't like: The base could be a little heavier to compensate for the full reach of the boom arm (i.e. if I fully extend the boom or even extend it half-way with the audio technica at2020 usb mic, it will tip over). The only other thing I don't like is the 3 foam pads on the bottom of the base. They are thicker than need be and contribute to potential wobble if mic weight/boom reach is not carefully balanced. The design would be better served with a full ring of padding. Overall: I'm pleased. The parts work reliably, the design is pleasant to look at, and the size is better for my needs.
Farha Sharif
This stand functions just as described very well on sturdy definitely a great addition to the microphone for the desk
Michele Rullo
This stand had just the right amount of stability, returned mine because it was not long enough for my table which was a super bummer
Heather Altinok
This stand is very sturdy. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. I am looking forward to using this stand for a long time.
Luke Whalley
This stand was perfect, prior to this I had a stand that for the kick drum that kept sliding down because it wasn’t sturdy enough but this one is miles better. Also I like the independent feel of it. It’s simplicity, helps its use.
Paul Andrews
Very good product would recommend for people with a mic.
Vicki Cogan
Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Will work out very nicely for my setup.
fauzia gaffar
Very well made! I like the heaviness of the base! Sturdy and feels great! The plastics aren't cheap feeling and all around I am satisfied with my purchase!
Jose Olano
We like how compact these stands are. However, fully extended reach and down is a little tipsy
Sharon Leparvlo
Weighty stand that seems like it will be durable. Mics can be attached without the boom arm (identical threading as the boom tip to attach the boom to the base. Adaptor is useful and can be screwed directly to the base.) I wish there was some more vertical adjustability on the base however.
Jayne Parker
Well made product that works perfectly.
