Excellent package electric guitar deal and perfect for beginners. I find it easier to learn in than my acoustic.

Better than I expected. Everything I needed to get started including having the strings already strung on the guitar. The electric tuner is easy to use. The amp being rechargable is perfect for playing in my house.

This guitar is a well made. The finish is amazing. The low end components have been assembled well. For instance, the nut is plastic instead of bone but it stays in tune nicely. The die-cast steel tuning keys are smooth. There are no sharp fret edges. The SSH pickups sound pretty good. Strap pegs were tight out of the box. Electrical components all function as they should. The factory set up was just right for me in terms of string height. I've made no changes. I just tuned it up and started playing. Mine came with surprisingly good accessories including a gig bag, cable, strap, tremolo bar, and adjustment tools. Very happy with this product. I've now bought two more Donner brand products including a Ukulele and a triple loop pedal. I chose the DST-100L which is the Sapphire Blue color. It's a very deep, richer blue than the web photos indicate. I recommend this guitar for any beginner or even veteran players who may want a good practice instrument to reduce wear and tear on a more expensive guitar. A great bargain for everything you get for your money.

Lightweight guitar great for beginners and the action is perfect when I got the guitar I took it to a local guitar shop to get set up but after inspection from a pro It was already set up properly it doesn't have great pickups but a beginner would not realize it very solid guitar to modify

I took a guitar class back in college, so I am by no means a pro, but my elementary aged son has been dying to play the electric guitar. We started him off with a super old regular hand me down guitar to see if he would keep his interest. He watches videos to teach him how to play on prime, and loves it!
Since he’s kept up his interest, we thought we’d go with the real deal for his birthday, but since he’s young, we wanted to keep it in a reasonable price range. This was the best bang for your buck. I love that includes the guitar in case, plus amp and cord, tuner and even extra guitar picks.
We use the tuner right away to get started. There are also apps that can help make this easier, or our local guitar shop will do it for you in seconds for free. I also love that it came with extra strings because the guitar shop will repair them for almost nothing, should you need that in the future.
The blue color was a huge hit. It’s full size so great for me and works for my son too. The grip is very comfortable and the sound is excellent. The guitar is durable and good quality.

Donner hasn't been making guitars long but that doesn't mean this is not a good guitar. This was purchased as a gift and is just right as a starter guitar. Namely, if he doesn't stay with it, we're not out a bunch of money. And with that comment, we're not setting up for failure, just testing how interested he is in a guitar. One of the problems with cheap guitars is that if they are difficult or frustrating to play, the student may quickly lose interest. So far that's not been the case and electrics are a little easier to learn on because the frets are a little easier to manage and there's less finger stretching than an acoustic. I'm learning on an acoustic and found while testing this guitar out that the electric was easier. The amp that comes in this set is a great idea and works. He lives in an apartment and even though you can practice playing an electric without an amp, it's more enjoyable with the sound coming through a little louder but not disturbing the neighbors. There's not much more of an improvement with the more expensive beginner guitars (Fender Squire, Ibanez) to justify paying up to twice as much.
I want one for myself now and would purchase this Donner set for myself.

I ordered that guitar for my husband as a Birthday gift as he always wanted to learn to play buy never had time, now when he get it he started his lessons! Guitar came packed very well, it is sturdy and looks very pretty, I think it is great for beginners but also for someone who is playing some time, it came with some accessories and even with a storage bag which prevent dusting.

I wanted to learn to play guitar at the ripe old age of 59, and saw a bunch of good reviews of this guitar here and on youtube, so decided to take a chance. I received the guitar in good condition. Had to tune the guitar, which was not surprising, and utilized the included guitar tuner, which I found a little difficult to use (sure it is me), so tuned it with Guitar Tuna app. The amplifier is perfect for me, as it is small and easy to take from room to room. The package itself includes guitar, bag, strap, tuner, extra strings, picks, capo. I have been playing it everyday since I received it. If you are looking for a good quality electric guitar to fiddle around with and see if it is something you want to continue to pursue, you can't go wrong.

I absolutely am in love with this guitar am so glad that I purchased this particular one it came with so many things I started laughing when I saw the little amp I didn't think that it would sound good but it actually does I love everything about it I got the dark blue on its beautiful sounds amazing I've always wanted a electric guitar and for my first one this one is spectacular I'm no connoisseur of guitars but in my opinion this is an excellent one well made

This is my first guitar EVER so I can’t really give an input from experience BUT my package came in 2 days earlier and handled nicely. Also I found it sweet how much they offer for the price, the color is beautiful ( sapphire blue ) I couldn’t stop starring at her , the weight seems reasonable (not too light or too heavy ) they even gave me some help by showing me the basic guitar notes . The amp is rechargeable so you can take it with you , the toner is clutch cause I know nothing about tuning and they even gave you the battery for it. Also extra strings. It’s perfect to start of so you can determine if guitar is really for you instead of spending a lot of money on a expensive one. I say go for it :)

Keep in mind that this is a beginner level guitar and not targeted toward guitarist that have been playing for years. That being said, I am actually really impressed with this guitar and the rest of the kit.
Guitar:
The materials are lesser grade (tuning heads, pickups, bridge etc.) as you expect on a beginner model guitar, but the overall its put together well. The neck is a bit more bulky than I would prefer, but it feels pretty good with a satin feel. The frets are dressed really well. I've several student level guitars and the frets usually dig into your hand, but that's not an issue with the Donner guitar. It also looks like it's even made from actually wood and not cheap plywood. I haven't taken off the pick guard to check though.
