Seriously though, as a portable headphone amp it is awesome.
There are limits on volume on the cleaner tones, through the headphones, but, plug it into an amp, and you have many usable tones.
The only thing that is less than perfect is the modulation, with the flanger being unusable, but if like myself you don't use a flanger, no loss.
As my new portable amp and effects it is perfect, and well worth the price, sale or not.

I bought this effects pedal because as a beginner I wanted a pedal that was cheap and easy to use and boy was I surprised! Although it is not as robust as other named effects pedals it has a built in tuner with an excellent range of effects and amp sounds, the one I find most useful is the drum effect switch, an extensive range of styles and beats which are a godsend when you are practising on your own. It has to be the best £25 I have ever spent!

What a marvellous little gadget. It has actually replaced my entire pedal-board for practice. I intend to use it live in our local Micro-pub music night because I think it is quite suitable. Quite robust, many settings and easy to use. Full marks to Donner.

This is an excellent practice tool and a great value for the money.
I have been looking for a headphone practice tool that meets a few specifications: (1) battery power, so that all I need is the guitar cable and headphone cable; (2) has a good clean sound, a good crunch sound, and a good lead sound; (3) has reverb or delay, which really helps make headphone playing more enjoyable; (4) has a metronome; and (5) no menus and doesn’t need an app or phone/computer interface.
The Multi-Pad ticked all of the boxes, and I’m glad I ordered it. I put a fresh nine volt in it and I’ll update this review when I know how long it lasts. There are 7 amp models; I like Cl2 (vox) for cleans, OD1 (Marshall) for crunch, and DS2 (Engl) for lead. The plate and hall reverbs sound real good for giving the sound some dimension, as does the “warm” delay. Accessing the metronome is super easy—preset 33 is 4/4, and you can tap the tempo. And the WYSIWYG controls are super easy. The manual took less than 5 minutes to read and I didn’t have to look at it a second time.
A few random notes. I kind of love that the unit looks like a SNES controller, and I laughed out load when I opened the Amazon package and saw that the box is “pixelated” to keep with the vintage video game theme. Love it. Also, I don’t plan to use the belt clip on the back, so I repurposed it for a pick holder.

There is a lot of functionality here for such a small and inexpensive unit. It sounds fine going into the effects loop return of my amp. What’s really great about it is that you can power it with a battery and plug in headphones. It makes practicing anywhere easy and quiet. You have a tuner and metronome or drumbeats for serious practice and basic effects and amp models for noodling around. The effect are not super customizable but sometimes it’s better to keep it simple. Amp simulations are decent and a few have more than enough gain to practice heavy rock or metal. The drums don’t sound super high quality but there is a good variety of beats to play along with. I’m very happy with this little guy.

I bought this after viewing a really cool and funny video . It looked like an inexpensive way to get some cool effects for my guitar and ukuleles. I'm pretty inexperienced with such gadgets, so I took it to a friend's who loves effects pedals and asked him to 'test-drive' it for me. What he was able to do convinced me that I'd made a good choice. I'm still playing around with it, but I know the potential is there. If you have a chance, check out the video review. It's a lot of fun!

This is a great solution for practicing with your electric as if it is an acoustic. It is so portable and requires just a lead from your guitar then one for headphones or earphones.
Eliminating the need for power with a 9V (see pic) is great - I will not need to find an outlet or worry about tripping over that wire. Not sure whether the specs mention another useful feature - if you want to be moving around there is a clip you can use to hook this on a belt/pocket/whatever (also see pic).
The effects are not hugely tunable, but you can dial in useful stuff for practice and then saving to a preset will help skip that dial-in each subsequent time.
Overall a great unit. I would love to see a slightly different interface of knobs allowing me a little more tweakability of the effects, even if it might make that harder to tweak the first time, as I will be saving the presets so I can just plug in and start schwanging.

I was pleasantly surprised with this unit. It'll make a great little desktop guitar rig for me to use in the office or around the house.
Although you could use this to play live shows, the build is not really "stage ready". You could make it work if you were in a pinch, but you'd have to be careful not to step on it.
I did run through my pedal board into this, so I can vouch that it will take pedals alright. (I use the Donner Ultimate Compressor first in my chain, and it's an ALWAYS ON effect for me, in case you're looking for an inexpensive, decent compressor)...
The Amp/Cab sims were actually not bad, and the effects were somewhat limited, but usable...
I'm not comparing this to a 700 dollar unit obviously - but this is a bargain at $50 and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through it.
The AMP/Cabs are Fender Tweed (1x12), Vox AC30 (2x12), Marshall JCM800 (2x12), Orange AD30 (4x12), Peavey 5150 (4x12), ENGL Savage 120 (4x12), and the Ampeg SVT bass amp (4x10) *I have not tried running bass through this yet*
I actually liked all of the Amp/Cabs. The Fender and Vox are usually my style, but I found the Marshall JCM800 to be really cool. I'm not really into high-gain amps anymore, but I did have fun chunkin' away on the Peavey 5150 and the ENGL Savage 120.
There is a Gain, Tone, and Volume knob. The effects are Reverb (Room / Hall / Plate), Modulation (Chorus / Flanger / Tremolo), and Delay (Pure / Warm / Tape).
Dialing in either of the 3 types of effects is a bit tricky... Basically you have one knob for each of the 3 types (Reverb / Modulation / Delay) - and for each knob, it controls the 3 different variations of the effect type. For example, the reverb knob all the way to the left (7 o'clock) is no reverb, and as you turn the knob clockwise, it turns on the "Room" reverb, and as you rotate through to about 10 o'clock, it lengthens the decay AND increases the mix... then from 11 o'clock to 1 is the Hall, and the remaining turn is for the plate. Same concept for the Modulation and Delay. These are not outstanding effects, but they work ok if you take the time to carefully dial them in. I found myself using a slight bit of chorus, and a slap-back style on the "pure" delay.
Oh, and it has a 40 pattern drum machine and metronome - these were not very good, but could be good to practice with if you needed to work on some rhythm. Also does have a built in tuner, which I was surprised it was fairly easy to use, even tuned down to e-flat...
What I like about this is that it's really perfect for someone just starting out on guitar (or bass), and wants to have some effects and amp/cab sims without spending hundreds of dollars on pedals ... AND for you parents out there, they can just plug in their headphones and jam silently! They can also just plug the output into their guitar or bass amp and play loud too :)
For the advanced player, this will be good to plug in and go when inspiration hits, without setting up an entire rig.... And to practice in headphones without bothering the family!
I'm giving this 5 stars because it's great for beginners and good enough for accomplished musicians, at a very affordable price!

The fact that you get basically 5 different sounding pedals a tuner a drum machine and and it fixes alot of the wrong feedback and hum but leaves the good kind for scorching sounds .

You can use it with your electric guitar or standalone with your audio studio gear. This is my second product from Donner so far in Audio Studio gear. I am Musician, singer-songwriter, electronic guitarist, pianist and percussionist.
Got the 9 Volt to test it out, but using the included PSU in the box. Got this connected to my mixer audio studio interface using 1/4 (6.35mm). I got more for the 40 Drum Machine Kit it offers. I have another device from Amazon it only offered 18 Drum Machine Kit. Nice that this one gave me 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 00 (40). 1 thru 18 on Donner Multi-Pad 100 are not the same type of drums they have an unique sounding tone rhythm pattern from Donner so with Donner and the other brand gave me 58 different drum machine kits. I need as much choices for the Drum FX as I can get thanks Donner a got 40 more with your device plus I can create my own effects.

This is a great little extremely versatile multi-effects pedal, particularly at it's price point.
First, I will state the obvious: each effect on this pedal is not quite as good as an individual pedal for each effect would be. That should be common knowledge for any multi effects pedal as a general rule, particularly any well priced one. The fine tuning you can achieve with each pedal, not to mention the ability to turn it on and off on the fly in the middle of songs is something you only achieve with individual pedals (or a multi effects pedal with such a high price point and so many knobs that you may as well have gotten your individual favorites in the first place).
Therefore,
The best application for this pedal is for practice, and getting exposed to a lot of different quality effects for a very low price. This can greatly stimulate your mind and creative juices.
THAT BEING SAID...this pedal could still be used for small time gigs if you really wanted to, because it has presets in the Patch settings that you can fine tune and save for particular sounds you don't want to hunt for between songs. You could even conceivably practice switching patches in the middle of songs if you're desperate.
The drum machine is pretty standard. Pretty mechanical sounding, but most drum machines sound that way to me. I'm not a huge fan of drum machines in general, so take that with a grain of salt. No 3/4 beats on this one, which I mentioned to Donner to pass on to their development team (they really like that feedback, and are great to work with. They usually follow up on purchases, and have a clear vision for excellent customer service).
The design shocked me at first, and my wife and I both thought it looked like an old school controller. Turns out that's the retro look they were going for. Cute idea, even if it's not my personal taste. It feels very light, as it is a plastic exterior, but a metal one might feel far too bulky, particularly as it has a clip on the back you could clip into your belt or pocket (once again, conceivably for gigging and faster changes as much as possible).
This pedal has been a blast to play so far. Very much worth the money for the quality effects you can pipe through it!

This pedal is good quality. It has many presets that give options for the type of tone you may be looking for without the need for an expensive amp.
The package came well protected with an included 9v power source which is really handy. Although not a stomp box, it is light weight and has a belt clip for attaching to your side for ease of access to the controls while playing. I really like the feature of the belt clip and included power source.

Its a quirky gadget and a good practice tool. Sound is tad over processed but reasonably good for the.money. it uses batteries fairly quick so plug it into mains while ur playing with it for first time. Its neat and there are sounds in there but tiny movements on dials required. Good on headphones and aux jack . Modulations are weak but distortions quite good. I have decided to keep it but not as good as zoom g1on overall. But one great thing is that it is a relatively quiet unit so I think it must have a built in.noise gate somewhere along the line which does quite a giod job of keeping excess ssshhhhh levels low. A real plus for me . This is a good processor for the money and I would recommend . Only lost a star cos its unkind to batteries and tuner unstable. Some decent sounds in there with a few twiddles but it is best used as a practice tool on headphones which is what its meant for I suppose. So within its limits its ok
