Excellent little pedal, beats all my expectations.

This pedal is amazing for the price and will be used in many songs I am certain.
Fantastic value too.

A great little pedal for the money. Given me loads of powerful sounds to experiment with, more for solos than rhythm.
The on/off stomp button is nice and definite so you know for sure you’ve pressed it. The pedal seems robust and has a good strong switch & main dial although quite small other dials if you have big fingers.
Perhaps it’s worth pointing out that the height of the in/out sockets are different to some other pedals which means you need to put some packing underneath it (a couple of Jenga blocks with black tape works fine!) when connecting more than one.
Also, if you’re like me and have big feet you need to think about where you position it in your set up. If you sandwich it in between other pedals you can accidentally step on more than one at a time if you’re not careful, due to the narrow width of it. Just requires a little thought in arranging them. But a small concern for such good value. I’m already looking at another one!

Very clean sound, interesting effects.

Superb service as usual. Multitude of effects, good clean tone, tracks accurately.

Very happy with this pedal has a great polyphonic sound at a low price you can play indian music and zorba the greek I'm not a pro guitarist only playing on a kids guitar with the donner extreme driver and other pedals

Still playing with the settings and options but it adds a great set of sounds.

I love this pedal!

solid little harmonizer pedal--tracks well, and sounds decent.

I here's a shot of my home made pedal board with my new additions the Deluxe tuner and the Harmonic Square 7. I can't believe the flexibility of the Sq7!!! It can add a bass line under your lead, harmonic runs, and can make your 6 string sound like a Rick 12 string. I have just experimented a little with it but I can safely say that it is the best bargain I've seen for the money. Try one and you will love it.

I'm not a pedal guy but bought this on a lark - plugged it in and what fun it is. Besides just playing with it I use it when I go thru the daily scale practice - they are no longer boring - maybe a looper next.

a lot of options in one box
Fun for bass and keys too
+1 or +2 high and low octaves, 5ths 7ths are very usable and then there are fun dissonant harmony settings too
Detune mode makes a great sounding chorus
I put mine after my arturia micro brute mono synth before a fuzz and im having lots of fun, honestly kind of want to buy a spare, esp bc it's so affordable!

I love this little pedal! Most importantly the sound is great. It tracks well and has multiple functions that are actually useable. I like to use the octave up sound as well as the octave down. I wasn’t expecting to get much use out of the 4th up and 5th up sound, but it’s turned out to be a very interesting sound which has inspired new compositions that I would not have otherwise come up with.
Beyond that, the build quality seems very good. It’s housed in a metal enclosure.
The price was the cherry on top. Very affordable, especially since I happened to get it on sale. And a good sale at that, not just a few dollars off but a good percentage off.
I’ll definitely be checking here before making any future purchases.

i have been looking for a way to laydown a bass line to accompany my my music tracks when i came across the Donner Digital Octave Guitar Effect Pedal. After watching/reading reviews on different octave pedals i purchased the Donner octave pedal and couldn't be more pleased with the price, quality and operation. my plan was to find an easy and economical way to laydown bass lines, but now i'm using the rest of the harmonic tones more than the bass octave mode: it's a very versatile tool for making music. i recommend Donner pedals for a musician that appreciates quality, price and function.

I bought the Donner Harmonic Pitch Shifter pedal mainly to drop the tuning down from E standard to C and B standard, without having to change strings.
The pedal has volume control for "dry" and "wet" output. Dry is your guitar's pitch, wet is the altered pitch output from the pedal. Turning down the dry allows for shifting the pitch up or down in harmonic increments.
Having both wet and dry knobs turned up has its uses, but limited in practicality to octaves, fourths and fifths. The detuning mode has interesting results. I use it mainly to alter the pitch of A 440 Hz to A 455 Hz.
The Donner pedal works really well with Ubisoft's Rocksmith 2014. No extra noise, no delay, and the true bypass feature is no lie.
The pedal is a nice size and lightweight. The body is metal, and of sturdy construction. All the knobs, dials and buttons are standard parts, and can be replaced if worn or damaged after long use.
In summary, this is a great pedal for its price. The Donner company is an Amazon partner, so you have the option of ordering from Amazon, or direct from the Donner website. Ordering from the website gives you access to better prices and deals, and their rewards and affiliate program.

Very cool, I use it to sound like a bass player is doubling the guitar

I look for guitar pedals and accessories on line, almost daily. As seen here I buy Donner pedals very often. I keep coming back to DONNER products because the quality and pricing allow me to explore within my budget! My lastest add is shown in the middle, the Donner Harmonic Square. Really like the variety this pedal gives and stacks well with my other pedals. Try them, loads of options!

I have two Donner pedals & two more on the way! They are a nice addition to my setup and the compact size definitely helps with my space limitations. The pedals work very well and do not produce any noise in my chain.

Works well with my basses. being able to pitch shift up and down is great (though not at the same time). The octave 1 tracks really well, octave 2 down tracks ok, sometimes struggles on the lower notes, but so did my Boss OC-2.
The other detuning options really add some interesting options to the sound, and being able to mix as much as you want with the wet and dry dials is great.

I really enjoy using the Donner Octave box. You get a wide range of settings that other octave boxes do not offer, also there is not the signal loss that other boxes are know for. Donber: Excellent products at a very fair price. Thanks

Awesome pedal ! All of your pedals and products are amazing . Using them in my band

Useful and cost effective; always well built. Harmony 7 has the same limitations as all harmony devices which work on mathematical steps rather than musical ones. You can't create a harmony in the same way that a vocal harmoniser can when reading guitar chords fed into it. But it will work surprisingly well as an electronic capo on full wet setting; I can use it to transpose a tricky solo without learning new fingerings. It's good on octave thickening too. As a bonus the detune settings provide usuable chorus effects. In a full set of more than 50 songs there is only 1 that needs chorus, so I don't have a dedicated chorus pedal on my board. This does the job: no extra pedals.

The best octave pedal out there by far! So many other sounds as well. Tracking is phenomenal and love the wet and dry blend knobs too.. Built string and smart. Thank you!!!! Great ideas and sounds

Best dollar you can spend to dial in tons of overtones from sub bass to hyper harp. Tracks like a pro for half the dough. Small box tucks in nicely with other pedals. Really quite magical that so much can be done with just one little pedal. Donner got this one done really, really well.

I'm a bass player and used to the boss oc-2, for the price this pedal is great and adds a nice fun tone and the settings are a lil different than most octave pedals I've used but its a great pedal for the price and how small it is.
Jacob B.
The Bees Knees! Tracks super well. Low octave is clear and easy for looping bass parts. The detune setting even has some great chorus sounds.
Mr M Taylor
I bought this mainly for the lower octaves, on both violin and guitar. My little practice amp couldn't quite handle the bass, but in band practice with a big PA the sounds are amazing, violin sounded like it was accompanied by cello and double bass - so of course I tried the Game of Thrones theme tune... like a full orchestra! For the price I'm highly impressed.

I never thought I would ever need or use an octave pedal, but I decided to get this one to help create some unique sounds for a pyschedelic jam my band plays live. I get it if you're using an octave pedal to mimic a 12 string or put some extra bass on a treble sounding guitar, but I think 90% of most octave pedal sounds are un-usable. Which brings me to why I bought this pedal. I use it so rarely, that I cannot justify paying over $120 for the main brand name pedals. I was able to get the exact, weird octave sound I was looking for while spending only $45. The other nice thing is that its so small and doesn't use up a lot of real estate on my pedal board. Its built really solid and all aluminum and keeps my board light. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this pedal. It will meet your needs of an octave pedal without breaking the bank.
ERIC
I have used this pedal with both a Fender Stratocaster and a Fender Precision Bass. While they both sound great, I feel like this pedal really shines with the bass guitar.
Many octave pedals I have used tend to generate a lot of noise, but I am thrilled to say that I have no issue with that here.
So. Funky.

I love octave and pitch shifting effects. I am lucky enough to have a very nice Pearl Octaver. However, the Harmonic Square caught my attention because of the sheer number of options available!
You have 3 basic modes available on a small switch; tune up, tune down and detune. Each works with the pitch shift dial to change the pitch of the guitars signal.
There are 7 settings for each mode. Tune up sees your pitch change by 1 semi tone per settings, unti you reach 1 Octave up, then you can also jump to 2 Ocatves up. The Tune down mode does the same except going down in semi tones, until you hit 2 octaves down.
Detune changes the pitch in 10 cent increments from the center position either up or down.
Tha is a lot of functionality in a small pedal!
Best of all, it sounds great, from creating Hendrix like Octave sounds, to synthy bass sounds, to 5th Harmonies, this has it all and they all sound good!
Exceptional value and a very usable pedal.
