The electronic drum set is so easy to set up, just plug it in and start playing. The electronic machine offers many adjustable settings, It is user-friendly as the settings can be adjusted from the screen. It has a silence mode and a coaching mode for training and learning. It also offers connectivity as an MIDI device which can be connected to a computer. The kit comes with 2 pedals, One for the kick and one for the hi-hat and has an auxiliary input port for accompanied music. The sound is fantastic. The unit is light weight and is easily portable. The kids really enjoyed playing with the drums and also liked the demo modes. The unit is well built, is more durable than a conventional drum set and the drum sticks are pretty solid. The only drawback is the power cord is a bit short. Great for beginners, highly recommend!

Includes thirty short songs for you to drum along to. 2. Comprises one hundred fifty tones 3. Capable of adjusting the sensitivity to the desired level of pressure 4. Can be operated either by plugging it in or by using the battery, making it extremely convenient. 5. Headphones are available for usage, in case other people don't want to hear the drumming 6. A wide variety of features, including the ability to record drum beats 7. The drum sounds are incredibly distinct and clear. 8. Specifically outlined instructions 9. Includes a built-in metronome 10. Includes everything you need to get started, including pedals, drum sticks, and other accessories. 11. Doesn't take up space Cons: • Because there are so many functions, I get confused sometimes • Drumsticks are made of a grainy wood and might not last for long time. In general, this is a terrific drum kit for anyone just starting out.

This is a good fun set to learn on. Comes with drumsticks, Power Cord and two pedals. I had fun tinkering around on it. I find it relaxing to tap out some sounds to set a mood. Although I'm sure a pro could make good use of this, I think it's more on the beginner's level. The coded display seems a little bit of a confusing way to let us know what the settings are at. You can probably figure them out by the button you press. There are 8 buttons. 1) "Power" 2) "Menu" 3) Up Symbol (Scrolls down a list?) 4) Down Symbol (Scrolls Up a List?) 5) "Click" (Metronome) 6) "Play/Stop" 7) "Rec" 8) "Demo" The "Menu" button has 4 different settings "C", "E", "F" and Just Numbers. Using the Down or Up buttons you can scroll through each of the 4. "C" has 1-9, "E" has 1-3 and "F" has 1-3 and the just numbers has 1-15. The 1-15 seems to change the arrangement of drums and snares on the pads. I couldn't figure out the other menu selections. I didn't get a manual with mine so I can only assume they change something perhaps related to C, E and F on the music scale. There are pedals which control your "Kick" and your "HIHAT" (plugs into the back.) There's a USB connection (uses a printer type cable, not included), an auxiliary input, a 1/4" Phono type output (probably to connect to an amp,) all located on the back. There's an 1/8" Headphone input on the front. There's a battery compartment that would allow for Remote Play and takes 6 "C" size batteries (also not included.) I give this set a 4/5 as I felt the display should have been laid out better in a more understandable fashion. If I get the manual for it, I will update my review with more detailed info.

As an alternative to a full drum set, I like that this multi-pad does not occupy a large foot print and the sound volume can be adjusted accordingly; It is very easy to switch between the various drum sounds and I love that the silicone rubber pads are pressure sensitive. If I hit a pad harder, the volume will increase accordingly. Construction wise, it is quite solid and primarily plastic; I recommend not using any alcohol-based wipes or cleaners on the silicone rubber as it will deteriorate at a quicker rate. With the large size, I did not find it too cumbersome to lift to a table and I opted to use the included AC wall adapter. I do wish there was some indication on what kind of stands are compatible and support this multi-pad; I was using this at my desk and the pedal cable length barely reaches the floor. Something lower like a coffee or side table does seem to be more comfortable for striking the pads with the included drumsticks. Things I did not really like: - With no USB-B cable included, I could not connect this to my PC to verify that it could used as a game controller. - The three-digit red LCD screen is a bit cryptic when delving deeper into menu settings. - Pedal cable length is a bit short for using this multi-pad at a desk. I really had to look at the instruction manual closely to get a better understanding of how to navigate through the detail menu settings; I learned that the first digit represents a letter is the menu option and the next two digits are the level it is set at: ‘S04 = Surface Impact Sensitivity is set at level 4’ It is nice that the orientation of the pads can the configured for left-handed use and I was able to change the drum order within the 4 presets available. The ‘click’ button does mimic a metronome well and I find it useful for practicing rhythm; I find it a bit odd on this unit that the bottom arrow button increases the speed whereas the top arrow button decreases the speed. It is an interesting piece for content and music creation as I love the variety of drum sound I can get from this relatively inexpensive unit; I appreciate that the pedals do not need to be bottomed out to trigger sound for the hi-hat or kick pedal drum. The included drumsticks do not have a clearcoat nor smooth glazed finish; I suggest getting better sticks for the sake of comfort during longer practice or play sessions.

I bought this as a gift so I'm not a drummer but I play the bass and I love all music. The drum samples sound great and the built in speakers delivers this sound well. While I have only fooled around with it I think the responsiveness and the pad action adjust ability will make a great trainer for anyone learning

Can you play it with your fingers?

Dear Terry, Thank you for your inquiry. You can play the DED-50T with your hands but we recommend you use the drumsticks. Hope the above helps.
What kind of stand would work with this? The seller says yes, you can mount it, but never gives any helpful information about how or what to mount it.
