The curved metal bits which hold the legs onto the underneath of the seat are so tight that I had to bash it in. Then of course you can’t get it undone without exceptional force.
So it’s no use if you want a portable piano bench.
So you may as well have just a chair.
It has three positions none of which work for me.
Also you have to physically unscrew it to adjust and it has a fiddly washer which could easily get lost so no use as a portable bench as it’s not truly adjustable on site especially if you are using different keyboards. It’s not quick to adjust which makes it useless if you are using it for a gig, event etc.
On top of this, the seat is very uncomfortable as it is quite hard.
The reason for not giving it the lowest score is that, once I have forced it into position and used a vice to open out the metal holding bits under the seat, is that it is lightweight and I have adjusted it to the closest setting possible to what I need so it could be marginally of use on certain occasions.
I don’t recommend buying this.

After I set up my keyboard in my place, I decided to go with this bench as it was thicker and had good reviews. I am totally satisfied. You simply open it up from the package. No assembly needed. It is sturdy, and does not move around when you sit down. The cushion is thick, but firm. This was a good purchase.

Great lil’ bench for when you get that sudden spark of inspiration! Quickly grab, unfold and BAM! The double cushion top is very comfortable. I bought this for my niece to use with her keyboard. She is currently using an ottoman which is hurting her back when she sits for ling leriods of time practicing so she was happy to receive this gift. It was easy to put together and sturdy but the cushion is a bit hard and the material isn't great but it will work well till we buy her a real piano when she gets better

I got the thicker version. It came pre assembled. There are 3 height positions (the product description says 4 adjustments and can't understand what they are talking about, there are 3 holes for adjusting). The foam is super high density. The foam does not collapse down. The cover is well stitched. IF you re-adjust height: There is a washer between the bars and it will fall out when the bolt is removed to re-adjust. Just be aware so you can keep track of it and place it on the bolt between the bars. Good solid lightweight bench. I am 160lbs and it's fine for me. HUGS

I really enjoy this for teaching the children who continues to grow and the traditional piano chair doesn't adjust the heigh so well. Also it takes up the less space on the piano so this makes it easier for you to scoot up closer to the child with another chair to teach. I wondered about how it might tip easily to create hazard, but so far I found that it's very steady on its feet, and the H shaped contact helps with that support.

We've been waiting a few months to get a bench for practicing. This is perfect. It went up in minutes, my teen did it with no needed help from us parents. He is so excited to be practicing sitting down now instead of standing. It's cushy and comfortable but not too much so. (You want it to be somewhat firm, too, for good support and correct form while playing.) It is also very easy to adjust, which is ideal and important for us, as we have more than one kiddo learning piano in the house right now and they're much different in height from each other. Super pleased with this!

Ideal it said it was a seat for a key board well i have a synthisiser so it turned out to be better and handier than i thought i just wanted for a little seat for the kitchen to watch the TV while waiting for something when it was cooking it was well padded and comfier to sit on as well and adjustable 3 heights well worth the money the name remembers me of a donner kebab and black is my favourite clour. thank you for the smart padded seat Donner.

I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a smaller bench or to someone looking to get a bench that's going to meet your need without breaking the bank. It's built really solid and sturdy and doesn't creak. It has a few different height settings, but its highest is the standard piano bench height. I'm used to playing on a solid wood bench my whole life, so this cushion is great and more than enough padding for me. I have no regrets about this purchase and would recommend it to anyone. This is a great deal for the price!

I think this Piano bench actually looks awesome! The "Donner" logo makes it look more premium in my opinion. In terms of comfort, the padding is pretty nice but I wish it was slightly softer (it might get softer as I use it more). I would have given this a 5 star only if it was sturdy enough, it definitely has some wabble, atleast in the one I received, and I think it is because of poor design on the part that connect to the seat. The wobble is less noticeable once you're actually sitting but by the stand itself, it is pretty noticeable. I think the locking mechanism could've been WAY better and very easily avoided. I don't know if I am missing a bolt or something, I assembled with whatever I got in the package. I am pretty light so I am not that worried about it breaking one day or anything but I don't think this stand is good enough for someone over 90KG (most of you aren't anyway). In conclusion, it's pretty good for the price, and I am happy with it but you could get better possibly if you do more research, I personally needed this one because of it's height adjustability :)

Loved this bench. Bought for my 6 year old learning to play piano keyboard and it fits perfectly on the tallest setting for him to reach the proper height. Very comfortable and looks nice. Simple clean, sturdy design.

I have only been using the chair for about a week but I'm very impressed. Both me and my brother use it and my brother is a body builder, so he is a very big guy. This is holding up with no issues at all so far. I also have fibromyalgia and was shocked how comfy this cheap little chair is, it doesn't even flare my pain.

Easy setup, no tools required with the big locking knob. has 3 height positions, but the highest height is where I liked it best.
Please note: this bench seems to attract cats ! If I don't keep it tucked into the piano, the cats are instantly on it.
It does have extra cushioning and is both longer and wider than the bench that came with my electric piano, so this is a good upgrade to those. But even as just and extra seat that folds up flat if you want, it will do that too.

In our music room, we have been using drum throne type stools for a while. I needed to add one more stool when I stumbled across this bench. It looked sturdier than the stools so I took the chance and I'm glad I did.
This bench offers a bit more seating room so it is comfortable over long periods of time. Our music room is also a computer room so the stools, and now this bench, serve double duty as a computer chair. With the stools, I would be fatigued after an hour or so but the bench offers more comfort for the long haul.
I want to use this mostly for guitar and horn playing but when it came in, I was at work and my wife immediately put it at her piano. She says that the cushion on this bench is much more comfortable than the one that came with her keyboard. It's also much more portable.
This bench goes together easily and by undoing the two thumb screws (pictured) it folds up nicely. Height is adjusted by moving the bolt at the center of the "X" formed by the legs to another set of holes. The whole process takes less than a minute which is the same for the stools we were using.
Overall, we are very happy with this bench and, if I were a betting man, I would wager that we will buy one or two more in the future...
