10/10, would buy again if I were in the market for a simple, easy-to-use budget looper.
Benjamin Todd
After watching a few videos, I wanted to give looping a try, and this was an affordable choice. You know what? This is pretty cool! A couple of mins getting the hang of "timing" your presses, you'll be looping in no time. Try A7 and D7, and you'll be "Feelin' Alright" in no time! Sturdy, easy, and simple. Go for it!
Albert Kwansa
Badass lil looper. Way better than the ditto
Scott Law
Bought for my son. He loves it. Says it’s easy to use.
Kelly Greene
Bought this for my boyfriend he loves it
Jayne Wills
Bought this to create riffs to jam and solo to. Found easy to use and like how you can save 3 different jams to practice with. If you are looking to something to jam with, pick up this pedal, it is definitely worth the price.
Beth Smith
Didn't realize it doesn't come w a power cord. Took a little finding to get the right one. Otherwise, works well.
Michael Hunt
Easy to use standard controls for single button looper pedal. I like the screen to give visual cues on the mode and loop length, helps when learning the pedal. No real issues so far other than it’s a bit touchy as to what power brick is used. Overall happy with this pedal for the price, only question I have is longevity but too early to tell.
Edward Broughall
Easy to use, good tone, cheap and good. I use it in a keyboard
Miles Metelerkamp
Easy to use, no sound quality loss. I love it.
hayley clarke
Easy to use, sounded great.
Febin Thankamma Saji
Easy to use, sounds great.
Lindsey Brookes
Easy to use, super clean looking, fits on the board with little space!
Sharlene Graham
Effective, low-cost alternative to some of the more pricey "name" loopers. Good sound, fairly intuitive to use. My son loves it, and was using it in a musical fashion (playing "Eminence Front" by The Who) within about ten minutes.
Andrew Shipley
For the price this is a great looper. It’s durable and doesnt take up much room. The display is really readable and it’s easy to use. Love it.
valerie Mcleary
Gift for 11 year old son perfect for playback
Daniel Pritchard
Good product for the price. You can get better but you'll pay a lot more.
Poppy Barker
Good product. I like that you stop it with one click rather than two, and that you can then immediately overdub. The 30-second limit is too short. Playing live, you can't really bend over and select another slot mid-song, and some passages are longer than 30 seconds.
peter powell
Good quality. Very easy to use.
Laura Sargent
Got it as a stocking stuffer for my husband. He is enjoying it and likes the quality.
Pierre Jeanson
Great looper pedal. It is easy to use and the sound quality is good. Works great for acoustic gigs so you can solo. I do wish the loop was continuous though. There is a slight delay before loop starts over...
TERENCE BARLOW
Great looper. Really like the LED circle to track the loop. Sounds clean with no added noise to my signal chain.
Jodyon Honeyghan
Great quality, easy to use and fun to play with.
Gary Hudson
Great sound and easy to use. Glad I purchased it.
Anne Foo
Hard to beat for the money. It's a simple little looper that doesn't take up much space and has a decent amount of functionality for the money.
James Harraden
I bought this looper for one purpose, to loop. I really like the simple layout and controls. The sound quality is really good. It is a simple design, that is good for anyone who is getting into looping.
peter maycock
I love the looper pedal. This thing is going to get a lot of use. The price for this pedal is extremely good considering other loopers with fewer features cost almost double the price. My only issue and some word to those who want to velcro this down to your pedal board: The pedal has a label on the bottom of it that peels off very easily (dont put velcro on the label.). The surface under the label is some type of silicone that velcro does not seem to stick to. So you might have to get creative attaching this pedal to your pedal board.
Manisha Kaur
I love this looper. I have a hard time getting the timing right on the loops, but that is my damn foot's fault!
Margaret Green
I wanted a looper to use for practicing. I've only been playing a year and this is the first pedal I've purchased. Took me 10 minutes to hook it up, read the directions and record something. Nice and small, feels solid, very easy to use. Perfect for my needs.
Phil Tunnicliffe
I'm somewhat addicted to Donner pedals now and the Triple Looper had been on my wishlist for awhile. I decided to order one on Prime Day. These Donner mini-pedals are really solid units with their metal housing. The buttons, switches, knobs, jacks are all well built. The small footprint is great for space saving on a pedalboard. You only have to see the specs of the pedal to know that it is value for money. Three separate loop slots, each with 30 min storage time, unlimited dub tracks, undo and redo functions. It's just great. The user interface is clear and logical and it doesn't take long to get the hang of how to work the pedal (an instruction booklet is included). You'll be up and running in no time. The rest is up to your imagination. The sound is clear - the pedal does not alter the tone of your signal at all. The audio of the loop playback is excellent, no matter how many dub tracks you add there is no degradation. The pedal does not pick up any click from the footswitch when you dub a track (I know that is a problem with some other loop pedals). One thing to bear in mind is that no power supply is included. You really can't go wrong with this one. Donner just makes great value pedals. Now....which one am I going to try next?
Savas Loutsios
It does what it’s supposed to. Your timing needs to be pretty sharp, and getting volumes balanced takes some practice, but that’s mostly about user error, and it’s a no frills box, so there you have it. Only real fuss is that it introduces a distinctly audible oscillation at higher volumes. It’s a low frequency issue, so a filter would probably catch it without compromising your sound.
Tung Ng
It’s a good price and gets the job done, but I would say it was a little difficult to navigate preferences, but not as much as say a Ditto.
Garry Shepherd
It’s pretty good and the digital display is nice but it’s big brother is well worth the added price. With the larger unit you get many drum patterns as well as a built in click if you like which is great for practice. Haven’t tried it in stereo but I’m sure it works fine.
Charlie Mohin
It's last on my guitar/bass pedal board. I like recording bass, rhythm guitar and solos together for practice!
David Pyne
Nice easy to use looper.
Joanne Grant
Nice pedal for the price.
Sarah Harris
Now the honeymoon period is over, I remain very impressed by this little beast. Sound quality of the loops and overdubs are very good, even after multiple dubs. 30 mins loop and overdub time per preset is very impressive. Would I use it live; under certain limited circs perhaps but it’s been much more a very useful tool for song writing and ideas. Very good fun, simple to operate and offers a lot of functionality for the price. It’s nice-looking too with a very clear LED display.
Nicholas Brent
OK looper; mini size is great; super easy to use. The triple looper feature is great too, and especially the fact that your loops remain in memory after pwr is switched off. It's mono, which is ok, but a stereo version w/b cool (feasible on a mini pedal tho?) Sound quality not so good though. After a few takes of a loop, punch-ins & punch-outs are noisy. Loops sound great going thru my guitar amp while recording them, but when I xfer them to my 24 trk, sound quality drops a lot. I plan to keep this, but would rather have spent more ££ on better sound quality & more memory.
Ian Livingstone
Overall this gets the basic job done, but just keep in mind that you’ll likely need to upgrade to a better model after you get your feet wet. It’s a bit limited with only 3 memory slots, but solid for a starter loop pedal.
Kerrie-Ann Baillie
perfect for me
Emma Repton
Pretty simple pedal, 3 modes, volume nob, and of course the nice clicking of the pedal.
Daniel Henrique de Sa da Silva
Quality is great and it looks good too. Having 3 different slots for multiple loops is fantastic. There is no delay on this...works easily right out of the box! The display is well lit and the progress bar makes it really easy to time your loops. Great buy...highly recommended!
Miana Bogatean
So much fun to use...and very solid!
Aurelie Giordano
Sounds great, does what it says, it does have a little of a learning curve. All looper pedals take some getting used to with the timing but this one having extra bells and whistles takes a little bit to get right. But it is fantastic for the price.
John Horne
Super simple to use. For a beginner to loop pedals like myself, this product is a great little pedal to start with. It doesn't come with a power adapter though.
Chris Sharkey
The best value I have ever gotten for a looper pedal. Amazing budgeft pedal
Deanna Walker
The display on this is a huge improvement over any other one-button looper. O have a BOSS RC-1, newer model with the time display. Much prefer the Donner. Why only 4 stars? Make me one with a stop button ;)
Michael Hardaker
The toe button…between play, dub, stop, erase…can be confusing. Keep that small instruction card cuz you will have to look at it over and over.
Delphine Libby
This Donner Looper pedal is a great value and has impressive sound quality. It has all the basic features I need and is easy to use. The three channels and long record time make it very useful for practicing and composing parts. I was surprised at how small it is, but it appears solidly built. This is my first looper pedal, in the past I have used a computer interface for recording. This is so much easier for trying out or learning new parts!
Paul Cook
This is a great first looper pedal to use. The switch on the pedal allows you to save three different loops, and it’s easy to figure out how to use. The adjuster for playback volume is also great. Super affordable little pedal that can do quite a lot for what it is! My qualms: the click sound of the button gets recorded into the loop, the button doesn’t always trigger the loop to start/stop which can be annoying. Overall 4.5 or 4/5, especially for the price!
Claire Phillips
This is a great little pedal. I love being able to play both guitar parts to a song . Very easy to use
Lyn Sullivan
This is a great product, but you'd better understand what it is you're using this for It's not as simple as you might think
Alexander Mcmillan
This is my first looper pedal. I found it very easy to use. Fits great on the pedal board with the other minis. Price is right.
NEIL SPELLMAN
This is the best choice if you are looking for an affordable looper. It does the job, very easy to use and 30 min recording time is more than enough when most loopers give you10.
Cliff Shanganya
This is very easy to use.
Natalie North
This looper rocks. I love to play with chords and lead lines. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who wants t have fun.
kayley forder
Very cool pedal . The directions could be better explained
Sabrina Ludeke
Very easy to use it just takes some time getting the the timing down for recording
Natalia Dontu
Very easy to use. Seems pretty solid. Decent sound quality. Price is right!
Caroline Nagiel
Very nice. Good price. I like it.
Gaurav Karvir
Wonderful looper. Amazing what quality they can produce from such a small package. Love it!
Mark Fletcher
Works as intended, basic piece of kit that is perfect for an economic setup. I only use a looper with my practice rig and it does the job fine.
Ian Mullis
Works very well for the price. Love the style as well.
Daniel Griffiths
Yet to use but feel confident it’s ideal option for me ! Great value for looper
Valerie N.
I bought this item for my 13 year old granddaughter who loves to play her electric guitar. She is now getting very good and this item is already in use. She loves it.
Reuben D.
Great compact pedal. Perfect for what I needed. Well built and the display is clear.
Highly recommended.
Mrs T.
Fantastic service. Happy with purchase. Will order from this company again.
Gillian G.
Bought this for my granddaughter's 17th birthday and she was over the moon! prompt delivery and excellent minimal packaging.
Stefan G.
Hi,
It’s my first looper so don’t have any reverence points here. From my fist impressions, I’m impressed with the looper. After a few try’s it’s easy to use. The quality of the housing is solid as well as so the knots. I could not hear any sound issues. And that all for just 40€. That’s good quality and and an exceptional good price.
LUKE A.
Bought this after the review on ‘Bass The World’, and in a Black Friday Deal. Just wanted something as a cheap and cheerful introduction to looping for home use. Was not sure what the quality would be like compared to a similar well known brand that is much more expensive, but it is excellent, certainly for my needs.
…..And now I can play like Victor Wooten ( OK maybe not)
Terence H.
Great on its own but doesn’t like the other pedals on my board! Makes a wired noise in any position on the board so don’t think it’s any of my other passes. On its own, it’s very easy to program and the sound is really great. I’ll persevere with it but looks like it might have to spend its life in its box - shame as I love (and have a lot of) Donner pedals!
Janet B.
This was purchased for my grandson. Was very quick delivery. He loves it. Nice that we got a free gift too.
Jimmy Lomas
This is a great little Looper pedal. It’s simple and easy to use, it has true bypass meaning the sound is not distorted in anyway. It has 3 memories, and the screen on it shows you the loop sequence and is really bright and makes looping so much easier!
I use mine with an acoustic guitar / amp and love it!
Rakibur Choudhury
Lots of fun with this pedal. Easy to play
Darren TULLOCK
Really nice looper pedal.
Easy to use
Adam
Has everything you could reasonably need in a looping pedal.
Three different channels for storing recordings, with each channel able to store a hefty 30 minutes of playback.
Just one button for controlling 'record,' 'stop,' 'dub,' and 'erase' features.
It's got a separate knob for playback volume.
It's got a display screen that shows playback time, so you can keep track of how far along you are in the recording you're playing over.
Plus, it's super compact.
Good, useful features. Strong build. Clean sound.
ashley smith
Does exactly what I wanted. I had it in the wrong place in my chain at first and put it before my MFX pedal (Boss GT1). So don’t do that. Once that was sorted the pedal is nice and easy to operate. Press once to record, press agin when you’ve finished. Has a timer to show where in your loop you are. When you’re ready press the button again for a dub. Long press to undo / redo what you did. Double press to stop. Long press on stop to delete.

So if you are looking for a good quality pedal which is so easy to use then definitely worth going for :)

Delivered promptly. I've never used a loop pedal before and I've been using it for bass and saxophone. Found it pretty simple and logical to use. Obviously you've got to be precise in pushing down the switch with your foot and it takes a bit of practise to get the double click timed right to stop the playback exactly when you want to and not to have it run over the ending of the song/tune.
If I'm using this correctly once you've added a "dub" if you get the dub wrong in anyway you have to clear the whole loop and start again. Only a minor quibble, maybe this facility is available on more expensive pedals, but then again it might make using of this particular pedal too complex. I am a tech' simpleton after all.
Overall I'm really pleased with it and reckon I'm getting reasonably competent doing a bit of multilayering of harmonies on some loops after an hours play on it.. Recommended.

Ordered this last week. Their Circle Looper was sold out so went with this mini in the meantime. Arrived super fast. Been playing with it everyday. Sounds great. Easy to use. Build quality is excellent. My first time using a looper. So much fun. Highly recommend this one.
Steve Baric
pick some chord progressions, and let it run. You’ll love this for both learning and live performance.
Mr. Taylor
A picked this pedal up on the strength of other reviews. I've been impressed with it so far and was just looking for something simple which can overdub. This is really easy to use and understand but I just wish they made the controls a little bigger. The stomp pedal is pretty small but the dial and the memory switch on the top of the pedal are tiny! You could never use this without taking your hand from the guitar. I usually like a pedal you can control with your foot with a bit of practice b

Having toyed with the idea of owning a looper pedal for the longest of times, I finally decided to take the plunge. There are so many loopers out there on the marketplace; all with varying degrees of sophistication and of course, prices to match. The ones I’d seen and read about had loop maximums of 30 or 40 seconds, some slightly more, some less, and then I came across the Donner Triple Looper.
The Donner Looper is about as simple to operate as they get, but what really had me hook, line and sinker, was that, not only did it have three separate recording banks (hence the ‘Triple Looper’) but boasted of unlimited overdubs. With these credentials, and given what I’d gleaned from the specs of other pedals, I was genuinely expecting something in the region of 100 quid. Well, not a bit of it, this wee beauty tips the scales at a penny under 56 quid and I reckoned I’d have been insane not to grab this looper – and so I did.
Power to this pedal is via a 9 volt power supply which is not included in the purchase, but bear in mind that, apart from the low cost of this looper, if you have other pedals then the chances are you already have the power pack and your other pedals are daisy chained together.
This is a true bypass pedal so that when the pedal is off (bypass mode), the signal from the guitar is routed directly to the amp without interference. It is also a very small pedal which in no way detracts from its capabilities as a looper although some might feel, because of its size, that the bank selector switch and the volume output control, are a bit on the tiny side. Me? I just think they’re perfect.
As small as it is, the screen is very readable and definitely bright enough to see even in the dimmest of venues. Entire control of the looper is down to the solitary footswitch and works as follows;
Stomp:
1st Starts loop record
2nd Plays loop
3rd Records overdub
4th Plays loop
By repeating steps three and four you can build up an unlimited amount of overdubs and by applying two rapid clicks you will stop the loop playing, one more click starts the loop playing again.
If during an overdub you should make a mistake, you can undo that overdub by clicking once whilst in play mode and the screen will read ‘UNDO’, if you change your mind and want to reinstate that overdub press the switch one more time and the screen will read ‘REDO’, but remember you must be in play mode for this to happen. If you intend to completely clear out all overdubs from a track you must stop the looper, hold down the switch for 2-3 seconds and the screen should then read ‘EMPTY’.
Travelling around the circumference of the small screen, during playback and overdub, an animated indicator shows you where the loop starts and where it ends. This adds greatly to the accuracy when laying one track on top of another. On any one of the three tracks, which you can select from using the right hand switch, you can have a recording time of thirty minutes, giving you a total of 90 minutes. This is incredible specs for a 56 quid looper especially once you’ve heard the clarity with which this pedal reproduces your sounds.
In summary, this looping game takes a fair bit of practice and I’m getting there, although I don’t think I’ll be showing off my skills with the pedal on stage anytime soon. I’ve been playing guitar as my main instrument for half a century and it’s been a long time since I’ve had this much fun with a pedal.
Go get one, you know it makes sense. Recommended.

Fits great at the end of the signal chain and easy to use
Wachyad
Super easy to use, small, has enough bank space for someone just learning to use Looper pedals or someone on a budget. Very please with this pedal. Looks cool too!
Pablo
I'm very happy with this purchase! It works well, and it is easy to use. Nice first looper!
Luke Woodward
Thoroughly impressed with this unit. This is my first Donner pedal and I would be interested in buying more after this experience. This is a simple looper but has 3 save slots so you can recall loops if needed. I like the size of this on my board (it's even smaller than my tc electronic polytine 2 mini!) and the loop is flawless. I have it immediately after my reverb and I am able to save a 10 second (or whatever) loop of a pad reverb and it will play it and loop it with Nooooo glitch/hiccup. I basically use it as a Freeze with 3 presets.
High quality build and the screen is very easy to see and read when playing standing up in a well lit room.
Everything about this pedal is intuitive and works like you would expec
Alex S
This is an easy to use, nicely constructed, looper pedal from Donner. It was packaged in a perfectly sized box with a foam packing strip to protect against damage. It comes with an owners manual but you won't need it. Just plug it in, and start playing. It's a solid piece of metal, not plastic, so it will take a good stomping.
It has 3 basic functions - record, dub, and play. I is really simple to use. Another feature is the timer- you know how long the loop is. It goes up to 30 minutes per loop and you can save 3 loops. That should be sufficient for most practice sessions.
Angel P.
Super ease of use, tons of looping time and the level control is the bomb! Well built! Looking forward to get more Donner pedals
Tim T.
This is my first and only pedal. I'm relatively new to guitar but this pedal has forced me to learn about keys, chord progressions, and how pentatonic fits on top or or within them. Instead of just doing scales up and down the neck, I look up online what the I, IV, and V of the key I want to jam over, play those chords and then I have my little jam track to play along with. I've even made my own 'songs' by doing chords on the first layer and then adding a bass line with my low E, then some percussion by muting the strings, and finally I solo on top of that. So much fun! Hours go by like nothing.
I really like the LCD on this model. It helps show you what mode you're in. Having the three different memory banks is cool too.
Only drawback, there's no USB connection so you can't save them to you laptop or desktop. I'm thinking of buying the other Donner pedal that has that capability some time later.
I'd definitely buy this again and some of Donner's other products.

I’d like to think I’m smarter than the average bear, but there’s no better way for me to feel lost than to hand me a looping pedal. Ever since a studio guitarist friend blew me away years ago with the possibilities of a Line 6 JM4, I’ve been looking for something that could unlock new song ideas while not requiring me to take a class at the local JC.
Enter the Donner Triple Looper. It delivers on its promise: three slots into which you can easily overdub to your hearts content.
Select a slot, click the footswitch and you’re recording. Click when you’ve finished your phrase. Click again to dub. Rinse and repeat as desired. (Please note, however, that the slots remain independent. That is, you could have 3 recordings in each of the slots, but you can’t dub, bounce or otherwise move the content from Slot 1 into Slot 3, for example. I really wasn’t expecting to, but with a name like the Triple Looper, some may think that might be in the cards. It’s not.)
Deleting a dub and clearing a slot are accomplished via footswitch “click and hold” operations. Easy peasy. (Sidenote: The action of the footswitch is outstanding: not too stiff, not too loose.)
There’s also a playback volume knob, offering another layer of sculpting possibilities.
Perhaps most importantly, I didn’t hear any discernible clicks or pops when the loop began to repeat. I currently own another looper than cost twice the current price of the Triple Looper, and it pops audibly when engaging the footswitch to record a dub. Indeed, the only time I heard any pop at all is when I “cleared” a slot (which is the same thing as deleting all recorded material from a slot). It was slight, and that was when distortion pedals were engaged. When they were off, I didn’t hear the pop. I also didn’t hear any pops when starting playback, dubbing or stopping playback. As such, I’d give it the thumbs up to use in a live setting.
The user interface is great. The display is not too bright or dim, and it includes a segmented “ring” that lets you know where you are in the course of loop playback. Something of a “visual metronome,” I imagine it’s handy for practicing.
With a metal enclosure, the build quality of the unit seems solid. I only own one other Donner unit (the Yellow Fall, which every guitar player on a budget is contractually obligated to own), but Donner seems interested in creating durable pedals. The Triple Looper is, interestingly, lighter than Yellow Fall. Not sure why I find that surprising.
Finally, I want to point out that the included instructions are easy to follow and actually make sense. I feel like it’s worth mentioning, as I’ve received some electronics items from Chinese manufacturers/distributors that included “instructions” that were laughably indecipherable. Not the case here.
Check out the video for a quick demo to show the unit in action. (Careful listeners will hear a “new mail” notification in the background. Total amateur hour.)

Have been using this for about a month and a half and it has worked flawlessly! The 3 track 30 minute loop times are what sold me on this but as an added bonus the screen, although small, is really nice for tracking the loop time, etc. Well built with a very smooth foot switch and being a mini pedal, it saves space on the board. Very easy to use.
Nexus
I recently bought and reviewed the Donner Tiny Looper Guitar Effect and really liked it. I already have a Ditto looper, so I gave my Donner away to one of son's friends. Then I see this one on Amazon! It seemed even easier to use than the Ditto or the other Donner, so I gave it a try and it didn't disappoint. It is a single button looper ;ole the other ones, but it solves a number of usability in creative ways: first it will let you store 3 completely separate loops of 30 minutes each. So you could literally use to store a bunch of sound tracks!
- With other loopers it's hard to know when the loop starts and ends, here the visual indicator around the display shows you exactly how far along in the loop you are, and even shows the time in seconds!
- unlimited undo and redo is cool!
- smartly, they use the same clicking patterns as the popular Ditto, so if you already have memorized all the fancy clicking, you won't have to relearn it
- but you don;t have to remember anyway: other loopers rely on LED colors/blinks to remember what mode you are in (dub? play?...) This looper just tells you on the screen!
This is a great product! and in a mini pedal format (I only buy those nowadays)
Samy K.
I just purchased this pedal a few days ago and have to say that I am impressed. No paying for features that you don't need or won't use. This thing is really built well and should withstand most rigors...only time will tell. The sound seems accurate and the 3 memory slots are very useful. I had the 'big name' version of this mini looper and it crapped out after a month. I have two other Donner pedals (and have sold off some others) but overall the quality is great and a good value. If you are looking for a simple, reliable looper, this may be it for you.
Pierre B.
I was looking for a looper and this one not only fit my board but also my budget. I would love a memory man but this is much more my speed. It’s a solid pedal, the switches and volume defiantly scream quality. I do like the display it’s clear and easy to understand. I love the size, it allows me to save space and get even more out of my pedal board! The sound quality is excellent and the adjustable level volume is huge! I also like that it stores the loops even after it’s turned off. Definitely going to look into more donner pedals!
