I bought one of these Golden Tremolo pedals for my main pedalboard and I absolutely love it. It enables me to achieve exactly the tonality I require and I couldn’t wish for more. The extremely reasonable price was a huge bonus. I’ve now purchased a second one for another, smaller board I’m putting together. I’m extremely happy with the Golden Tremolo pedal and recommend it very highly.

Just what in needed!

Great little pedal for adding tremolo to your sound. The variation is tone is limited, but for the price, it is a great addition to varying your sound

A little underwhelming. Too subtle for me. I prefer their other modeling pedal with trem, flanger, phaser, etc. from a build standpoint, couldn’t ask for more.
Tim Hobbis
As advertised. Works good for me but I am in no way a professional. I am satisfied with it.

I very happy with this tremolo. It's not super fancy but it's easy to add a nice subtle tremolo to my rig. Pros: - Easy to use - Small footprint - Good basic tremolo sound Cons: - The depth and bias knobs are tiny and hard to adjust.

Great tremolo pedal and a steal for the money!!

Very clean, clear and smooth tremelo.

The perfect Pedal to accompany my DTC-100S.

It does what it says on the tin! But very nicely.

Works a treat. Appealing wobblyness, nice and quiet. Top marks.

Great sound quality built pedals

Very good term pedal for the price- offers a subtle wobble, nothing dramatic.
I also have the verb square pedal, which is also very good.

Another great item from the Donner team, Keep up the good work.

Great price, arrived really quickly. Just the sound I was hoping for.

I'm delighted with this tremolo pedal. The speed range is huge, the tonalities are excellent and there's no volume drop-out. Exceptional value for money.

Very good service and product.

Great mini pedal to add to my or my teens pedal.
Love tremelo and reverb pedals so this is great cost effective selection! Mild, not over saturating

So I've had this pedal for a few days now, plus I've recently also bought a donner yellow fall delay. When I first got these pedals I was honestly kinda disappointed I mean there was an effect of some sort there but it wasnt what I was hoping for, BUT.......!!! Today I got the chance to really sit down and mess around with these pedals and adjust them to my needs and let me tell you "petal placement" is everything. My Donner golden tremolo when I first had set it up it kept making this clicking sound when my distortion pedals gate was off. And as far as my delay pedal goes it didn't even sound good when the delay pedal and a distortion pedal was on I couldn't even play the two together. But after adjusting the pedals the correct way it sounds amazing. I've got another Donner pedal on the way and I guarantee you I will be buying a lot more of these things!

I have the Joyo tremolo, but needed a second unit for a second rig. The Donner unit is small and requires an external power supply, but this was not a problem on a pedal board where space is at a premium. It is well-built and gives that smooth round tremolo effect that you get from a classic tube amp. This was a just what I needed since I play classic blues. Tremolo is a forgotten effect that is still one of the best. Love it!

I was happily surprised when I used this pedal. Not only did it take up a minimum amount of space, it sounded great and on top of all that the price was unbelievable.
I have been using pedals for over forty years. I have had pedals that were five times the price of this pedal and they did not sound any better than this one. My pedal board has gone from twenty + pounds to about three pounds. Everything about Donner pedals is nothing less than wonderful.

Very impressed with this little pedal ,suits my needs .

This pedal again shows exceptional value for money. A classic surfy wobble is easy to obtain and it can be customised with individual depth, bias and speed settings. If you like a bit of a wiggle in your sound, Donner have again allowed this at a price point that won't break the bank.

This is one of 7 Donner pedals i have on my board! It gives that vintage Tremolo effect from way back, and like all my Donner pedals is subtle but very useable. It gives a real 'sheen' to your sound, and adds depth as well. Great pedal, and great value for money! Mac

I needed a tremolo sound for a couple of songs on an Americana gig and the sounds were perfect on this pedal. There was also no volume dip when I clicked the pedal on.Great price.

I prefer this over the Boss TR-2 pedal I recently purchased then sold. With the bias knob cranked, you get a really authentic sounding 60s trem. Love it. These Donner pedals are very cheap, but in my humble opinion represent great value for money. All good!

The value of money that this pretty compact box of tone packs is astounding! Perfect true bypass, no audible click when activating, bright LED and most importantly the effect itself stacks up against other units that cost 5 times as much, and I'm talking from experience as I've tried many high end/mid range trem pedals.
The quality and size of all the donner mini pedals (that I've bought and tried) make it so easy to pack out a board with every effect to cover literally all musical genres.
Sturdy unit with lovely finish and presented in a classy little magnetic storage box with manual and stickers included.
It does not dissapoint and in fact it excels in every aspect imaginable. If I could find a negative I'd state it but I'm honestly astounded! Buy this pedal, hell.... for the price which delivers this quality buy all the pedals .

I use this with my hollow body to get a gorgeous vintage rock n roll feel, just try Blue Hotel or Summer Time Blues with this ;)

I've been a Donner fan since I bought the Tutti Love chorus pedal... I have one on both of my pedalboards. I thought the Golden Tremolo would be great and I was right. The controls have good range and I'm able to get the tremolo sound that I enjoy hearing from this pedal. I pretty much set it and forget it... Which is kind of a shame with all this pedal has to offer. Kudos once again, Donner!

Tremolo is a modulation effect that creates a rapid change in volume (as opposed to a Chorus/Vibrato effect that varies the pitch of a note). Tremolo was the first electronic effects unit, appearing first in the 1940s for use with electric organs and later used by guitarists. By the 1950s tremolo was an in-built effect in many guitar amplifiers and was a particularly prominent effect on many 1960s songs, my favourite being 'Born on the Bayou' by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Tremolo an effect the I like to use to fatten up my guitar signal and add modulation to quieter picked and strummed parts as opposed to Chorus and Vibrato effects which I find a bit too "woozy" sounding for my personal taste.
The Donner Golden Tremolo Pedal is a great budget tremolo effect, and at around £20 is superb value for money.
Solidly built in a metal case with a cool gold paint job and a slightly bizarre Hercule Poirot moustache graphic, the pedal is simple to operate with three controls: Depth, Bias and Speed. Depth affects the intensity of the effect and Bias adjusts the waveform from a smooth to a more choppy effect. The large Speed control adjusts just that, from a slow churn to a crazy whirring! I find a setting of all three controls either side around the 12 o'Clock position suits my playing style.
Like most mini sized pedals the Donner Golden Tremolo has no option for battery power but a standard Boss Style 9v centre negative power supply (not included) works just fine.
Pedal is labelled True Bypass, and this seems to be the case as the guitar signal passes through the pedal when its is switched off and the power supply removed.
All in all the Donner Golden Tremolo is great pedal for the money that does exactly what you'd expect it too and what I particularly like is that this pedal doesn't affect my overall volume level when engaged like some tremolo pedals I have tried in the past.
