Love this bass, it plays and sounds just like a Fender Precision. It was delivered within a week. I have no idea how they manage to produce a guitar of this standard for the price. I'm recommending this guitar to all my friends as well! I have been playing guitar for over 50 years.

I'd recently purchase a DPB-510S Bass after reading some great reviews about this guitar, I chose the Sunburst to go with the other two Donner guitars I'd previously purchased.
It arrived well packaged and on time, included in the package was a good quality padded gig bag, nice strap and good quality cable with an angled plug.
After a little set up and tune, I was pleasantly surprised at just how nice this bass is to play. Very well balanced with a nice tone, and nicely finished.
The electrics are all good quality, pickups are really punchy and the volume and tone pots are nice and smooth. I honestly think it's the perfect choice guitar for anyone who fancies learning the Bass on a budget, aswell as an accomplished musician.

Absolutely love my collection of Donner guitars, they're ideal to learn with and they sound magnificent. Easy to customise if you feel the need, and are very well manufactured. I also use a selection of Donner effect pedals which are great value for money and extremely well built.

Nice beginner bass. Its a little neck heavy, high action but it comes with a handy action ruler because you will be adjusting that. Sounds as good as a Squier.

Whether you're a begginer, or want something affordable to play gigs with, this is a great choice for a Pbass. It feels great in hand, doesn't neck dive much, and it sounds great right out of the box with a quick tuning. I would compare this to any Squire or Fender Pbass. A few of the pictures are after I polished and oiled the fretboard, and it cleaned up beautifully.

Delivery 2 days prior scheduled! Came in decent packaging. Husband has not tried to play yet! Therefore, no comment on the quality of the instrument just yet! Looks nice, but feels quite heavy 9not sure if it is normawl as itis our first expierence for a new hobby). Recommended Donner to a friend who made a purchase of a keyboard from Donner already. Seems, working fine. Now we are looking for an inexpensive bass amplifier to buy. Thanks.

I purchased the DPB-510S 4 String Bass after watching some reviews about this guitar on YouTube. Everyone who bought, played it seemed to have been impressed with it. That not withstanding, my expectations were somewhat guardedly optimistic. The package was delivered a lot sooner than I expected. It was wrapped up good for shipping with a lot of padding on it. I like how this comes with a gig bag, cable and strap. The gig bag could use a little more padding, but I have bought other guitars from the big brands that didn’t come with one. I was quite impressed with the finish of the guitar. The first thing I did was slide my fingers along the fret board, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a lot smoother than a much more expensive bass that I purchased a few weeks before. I am really impressed with the flawless finish of the bass, not something I expected at this price range. Amazing!

When you fancy learning a new instrument you tend to go for a cheap and cheerful option so you don't overspend only to find out it's not for you. Problem with that is that you'll end up with an instrument so bad that you will deffinetely hate it and never look at it again. I bit the bullet trying this cheap Donner as I had great value stuff from there before. Turns out it was the right choice!
Features:
- Built like a tank, no flimsiness, looks absolutely gorgeous in Sunburst. Mine has a couple of small knots for character. I like seeing a nice honest piece of wood in my instruments.
- Tuning pegs are solid, no pitch loss. These are high quality, no compromise
- Nice cut nut, no tagging there, strings slide smoothly
- Speaking of strings, they do the job, but you will probably want to put your favourites on
- Sounds great and plays great once you adjust the truss to your liking. For a guitarrist (manly) like myself, a nice low soft action is very important before growing some strength to handle a bass
- Comes with cable, strap and bag. All you need.
Would have liked:
- A truss rod key. It is standard size but I still strugglle to find one in my tool box as I'm very disorganised.
Overall, I really don't know how they can sell an instrument at this quality and make a profit. This is more than a beginner's instrument. Mine's up in its hook on wall ready to use in hiome recordings. Love it!

Really happy with this purchase. I'm in a band as a vocalist but really want to learn musical instruments. The bass player in my band tuned this for me and was surprised at the quality of this product for the price that was paid. 100% satisfied. The only thing I may have an issue with is the small amp that was provided as it didn't work. I have a bigger amp so all is not lost.

For those who think you have to pay over $1,000.00 USD for a good bass, this shows you can get a good but cheap, playable bass for a small fraction of the price.
Feels like my Fender American Precision. Was set up very close to ideal. Tuners knobs everything feels tight nothing loose. Neck is straight, action is good, intonation very close. I could gig with this out of the box, no problem. And it sounds really good !!

So far so good. I played a bit in High School (30+years). Seems solid, well made. This will definitely serve my purpose. Just an old man wanting to play the bass.
