Bought in six months ago for new AC air handler noise, so far do its work good and stay in place over months. Good try!!!!!!
Vensel Redhead
Does a good job but needs extra tape
Rich White
Ensure you buy an adhesive with them, as sticky pads don't work
Nigel Harris
For anyone new to sound absorption - you do NOT need to cover an entire wall with these to get an effect. On the contrary, over-treating a room can sometimes kill it (though it's probably unlikely with these things). Instead, get a sense of where standing waves are likely to occur in your room - either with a fancy, super-precise study of the various room modes in the room you are treating, or more likely if you're only buying cheap stuff like this - put them in a polka-dot sort of pattern concentrated near the corners, floor and ceiling (with some ON the ceiling) and make sure no untreated walls face each other.
James Gilbert
Great Noise cancellation for the price! Back is difficult to stick so it might take a little extra glue/tape. Other than that, great quality!
sadhani ratnayake
Great product. Adhesion isn’t bad. Just know that some aren’t perfectly flat as the corners bend up off of the wall.
James Stelzer
Great set of panels! Easy to set up, would highly recommend you buy some strong adhesive spray at the same time.

I got these literally the next day and I followed all the instructions my room is still echoing but it looks great on the wall. also I recommend getting some 3m spray adhesive because the ones included stated to come off after 3-4 hours of installation
Mark Williams
I just could NOT get them to stay stuck to the wall i spent most of my experience with these re-gluing them back on the wall just for a different panel to fall off and when that one was glued back up another would fall off...a nightmare! i used many tapes and double sided tapes even gorilla super strength dukt tape...you could hang a car off the wall with that stuff but not these foam pads. Maybe they need airing for 24hours to expand properly i dont know.

I needed something to cut down the sound from my furnace inside my basement mechanical room since its next to where I practice and record music. These cane well packaged. I opened them and left them alone for a day to regain their shape. I installed with the double sided tape that came with the items, and it worked fine for me, but I hear the best way is to install with spray adhesive. The sound of the furnace is much improved from the other side of the wall. They work well!
Peter Marshall
I received the product and, when I removed them from their packaging, they had a very strong smell to them. After soaking them in water (as was recommended to reshape them), a full bottle of Febrese, and leaving them out for two days, I was finally able to remove the smell. As far as their performance, they work quite well and were relatively easy to install (although the tape that comes with them is very thin and can be a little difficult to handle.)
Jose de las Heras
I used these in my home recording studio to stop the echo off of the plaster walls. These made a big difference. The only problem that I had was getting the mounting pads to stick to the foam. I tried several types with no success. I finally had to use push pins.
Lisa Todd
I was disappointed at first as it came compressed and left it out to decompress for 2-3 days and still less than an inch tall. Then I tried the method of getting wet and wringing it out. 20 minutes later, a full 2 inches. Only bad thing is it retains water pretty well, either leave it out in the sun or put in dryer for a few minutes. Got hanging double sided tape hanging and has stayed on the wall so far.

I’ve ordered 3 of these 12 packs. My boyfriend is a drummer and he loves it. He’s able to play in is music room while I comfortably watch tv in our bedroom with our baby. We love it.

I've sound treated 3 professional studios before for literally thousands of dollars. This obviously isn't in the same league, but I wanted a cheap solution for my home practice room and I'm very happy with the results. As with all sound treatment, coverage is really important. I found that one pack made a noticeable difference but I ordered a second a pack because 12 ft really isn't enough coverage for my roughly 200sqft room. Based on other reviews, I didn't use the included adhesives. I bought some heavier duty 3M picture hanging strips and used 1 strip per panel plus blu tack for the corners. Holding up well after a couple of weeks.
Aidan Paul
Let’s mention the elephant in the room straight away… these panels smell bad, even after a good soak in a bath of some lovely smelling shower gel and a thorough rinsing, there was still an aroma ( not as bad ) but still noticeable. This is what got it marked down. The smell does dissipate though, just need to soak and give it some time. Applying them to the wall: I first used double sided heavy duty mounting tape to stick them to the wall and it did not deliver good results, next day they had fallen off or were hanging precariously off the wall. I did use a fair amount as well. I then opted for adhesive spray, the type you use for carpets etc. This did the trick. Good luck!

My brother plays the guitar and has a studio next to my room and it has lowered his noise thst I can hear. The only complaint I have is that it smells funny when you first open it.
STUART SPEIRS
Not too good to block noise but great aesthetics.
Simon Powell
Ok, but not as dense of foam as i was led to believe.
Audrius Dirmauskas
Our first purchase was not thick enough, so we have gone for the 5cm version which is not perfect but dulls down the sound
Mike Burgess
soundproofing a furnace room
NICHOLAS REED
Super easy to setup just if you soak it takes awhile to air dry other than that I was fine with it
Dorothy Clarke
The foam is fine, it's able to block noise. It helps me sleep better at some points. It was also easy to install and light weight. But it didn't come with good smell and hard to dry them out. I soaked the foam with water as instruction, and air drying for couple days(I use machine dryer for couple minutes, blow dryer for each corner in order to stick them to the wall), it still has water inside of foam. Guess I should dry them for longer time in machine dryer. All in all, it's good.
Edwin Welch
The media could not be loaded. Thank you I am very happy with product!

These are affordable, and effective. is basic audio science, people. GET THEM, they are great for my home studio
Michele Chiariello
These things are amazing! My husband streams on Twitch, so we bought these to help with echo from our bare walls. When we first got them they needed to puff up a bit from being shipped vacuumed-sealed, so we kept them in the garage. We puffed them up for about a week or two, mostly out of laziness, but they smelled like cigarette smoke because that's where my husband smokes when it's cold out. We decided to wash them (hot water regular cycle and high heat drying) and they came out perfect! No smoke smell, no weird shaping, nothing! When it came to putting them on the wall, the tape it comes with is useless. Absolutely useless. We bought cardboard poster board, cut it to the shape we wanted, gorilla hot glued the foam onto the cardboard, then used those velcro-like Command strips on the back of the cardboard to stick them to the wall. We stuck one on the wall in front of and behind him for the echo. They've been up for almost a year now and no problems at all! The foam pieces have stuck to the cardboard nicely, and the cardboard hasn't moved a bit from the Command strips. They've also helped significantly with echo while he's streaming!
Veronika Holubova
These were as expected
Tracey Alex
They look and feel great but the double sided sticky things they come with to put them on ur wall or whatever don't hold for very long. I suggest a spray glue/adhesive though that would be more permanent
Kate Hughes
They work goods
Xinyue Gao
They’re great little sound absorbers don’t get me wrong. I do a podcast, but for my set up i don’t believe they are worth the purchase. I won’t lie, they’re a bit awkward to use too. I’ve sprayed them with contact spray and they fell off, 3m tape, fell off. I was really getting annoyed so ended up having to use the 3m strips again, put super glue over the strips, then adhere the pads to them that way. Was quick and easy just a pain in the you know what.
Georgie Green
This worked exactly as advertised...absorbs sound. Came compressed but fluffed up in 24 hours.
Tom Foxhall
To be honest I bought these for the aesthetics but I have noticed my voice does not echo as much in the room after installing them.
Linda Brandwood
Used these in the wheel wells of my Jeep. Definitely helped with the road noise. I used spray adhesive to make it stick.
Quoc Nguyen
We have fairly thin walls at our house but they only dampen the sound slightly id recommend putting a backing layer on your wall as to not destroy it when taking off the panels if you choose to use spray adhesive
paul ferrier
Worked as advertised!
Jesus Manuel Rosa Garcia
Works for what it's intended for but they sure did smell bad for a week or so when I got them out of the package.
Peter Darling
Works great studio noice cancellation is good
Carol Gillies
You’re going to need to buy more than 12 for it to work good, that goes for all sound panels.
Shaun N.
Not bad but some the tiles were cut very poorly. You get what you pay for I guess
Neil R.
These arrived compressed to within an inch of their life and even following the recommended 24 hr period they appeared irregular in shape.
More significantly they would not adhere to the wall using the suggested adhesive aids. In other words they are a waste of money for me. I am going to pay more for better quality elsewhere.
Rik K.
Used as an experiment in a noisy pub, need a few more yet.
Rodney B.
My only concern is that I assumed they would have been a bit thicker.do you supply a thicker version? I would have no
worries purchasing a thicker version.have not placed them yet,but can't wait to see how they look and will promptly finish this survey with a photo to show.

Recently I built Gaming Studio in Basement, and I have highly sensitive MIC, because basement is empty basement, my Mic is catching so much Echo noise, that’s why I decided to but Acoustic Foam Panels, after searching while, I decided to purchase this product because of price and quantity of foam panels.
Gleb
These are nice acoustic foam sets.
Ragionier Filini
good value
mattxd
At first I was a bit confused because it came packaged very small but upon opening it and following the instructions to unwrinkle the squares it was exactly what I needed in my room! Very well packaged and good quality.
Henry ho
Like all new build walls are thin and after applying these I find that it reduces sound spillage to other room. Truth is such product is not meant to be used as a sound proofing. It's meant for enhancing audio quality which in this sense I got no complaints.
Update
I am so pleased with the product that I bought another set. Really dose make a difference to sound
Jjamo
These are quite decent for starters.
They seem extremely thin when you take them out of the packaging. The instructions state that you must leave them for 24 hour for them to retain their original shape.
These are very easy to install - once you have the adhesive strips or spray.
All the instructions for this package are on the product listing page. Very easy to fit and exceedingly decent for the price.
They're a bit thinner than I would have expected.
andrew
Great quality for the price - you can expect some of the foam to be uneven when you first unpackage it, typically these need 24 hours to fully expand as they are flat packed.
Tedious to attach the 3M tape, but you are supplied with 6 pieces per panel, which is adequate :)
Overall I am happy with the quality, look and effect.
If you're looking for higher quality, professional grade panels, you will need to spend a lot more, but these do the job :)
Mario M
These Donner 12-pack acoustic foam panels do the job. I fixed them on one of my wall and the reverberation decreased a lot. Also included are 72 pieces of sponge stickers. I will probably buy another pack for my kid's room. He plays drum!!!
freddy
these took shape very quickly after removing from packaging.
I was worried from other reviews werent bent or messed up in anyway. My space has alot of cement and plaster in it so I figured these would be great to dampen some of the sounds bouncing around, just gotta figure out the best spot to hang them.
seems very sturdy, i like the geometric, modular style patterns and there was no weird smalls or anything
Aivi
I am so happy that these came with 3M double sided tape. Huge time saver. Super easy to setup. :)
Josh
Works good and sticks with extra strips
Gavin Day
They can sometimes be difficult to mount using certain glues. I found elmer’s glue or craft glue works well to mount them onto cardboard, which can then be easily mounted to the wall with command seals.
David
12 simple but effective foam sound proofing. A little thicker might have been nice, but still does a good job.
Dave M.
Gave these a day to expand and then mounted with the included double sided tape. I had no issues mounting and I think they look great. They do keep the sound reflection down in my small room so they're doing their job.
Virginia S
These are nice acoustic foam sets. They definitely help with the sound if you want to set up a recording booth. They aren’t going to make it 100% soundproof, but they’re a good buffer, especially for the price.
They fluff up a lot after they’re unpacked and it’s best to let them sit before setting them up. It’s also a good idea acoustically to try them at different angles to see how they impact rogue echoes etc to get the most out of them.
cl
I have these mounted on my all behind my tv and gaming setup. There's a ac unit on the other side of my door and with my door closed I can't hear anything at all. I also have 2 other roommates and I forget they're here most days while I work at home. This mats work great and are a great value! I highly recommend using these sound deadening mats. I used a 2" piece of foam double sided tape to mount these. It does take much since each mat weighs about 5grams lol
gh
kept sound out from hearing my son on xbox
Robert H. K.
Using this product up a lot. You will notice a big difference if you install it properly. It helps reducing reverberation so that even a cheaper mic sounds better.
Shawn MacDonald
They unpacked easy and expanded properly. We attached them to our walls, which worked perfectly fine.
Justin
Only mild complaint was they took about a week to 10 days to return to full shape.
Aside from that they work great in my studio & very happy with them! Likely I will order more in the future.
Luke Revill
I bought this as I wanted a sound buffer for an adjoining wall when I was practicing and following installation, my neighbour noticed a significant difference. So this product is certainly worth buying, especially since you get 12 foam squares of a very good quality, another massive bonus that I was not expecting was being supplied with a large number of 3M double sided sticking squares, which is something I was not expecting and as expected they stick to the foam very well. However, I do recommend that you press squares into the foam and gently peel the strip off as the adhesive is strong and can tear the foam. Another thing I would recommend is to let the squares air out for at least a week before putting them up as once you open them there is a strong chemical smell, which is expected as it is foam, despite the instructions advising a day, I felt that after a week the smell was less prominent and the squares had a good shape as they are packed very tightly. Overall, great value for money and well worth it.

Spent ages contemplating getting these. I make tiktok videos from my desk and the office I use is really echoey on account or not having many soft furnishings. These tiles were recommended on the soundscape website so I thought I’d give them a shot.
First the bad. These tiles come packed tightly which severely squashes and deforms them. When you first open the package you may, like me, totally regret your purchase. However in the pack is instructions to soak them in water. So into the bath they went. Left them to soak over night. I don’t know if they needed to be soaked for this long but I chose overnight cos it was the only time the bath was free!
Next morning squeezed out the water and left them to dry on a windowsill for a day. I’m pleased to say after this soaking they doubled in thickness! And the shape was as perfect as you would want.
The tiles come with sticky strips. DO NOT USE THESE! They are horrible. The glue will rip the back off your tile if you ever want to remove them. I used Velcro self adhesive tape, cut into little pieces for each corner. Much better!
Now, the good part: sound. Bare in mine these are not for soundproofing. They are best used for reducing echo and flattening sound. And they do this brilliantly. There’s still a slight echo in the room because I’ve only used one pack, but it’s massively reduced. A fringe benefit is the sound coming from the speakers on the back of my monitor has massively improved.
Really happy with these and will probably buy another pack in the future.
N. Shell
They are a nice size and easy to install.
Christopher McLemore
The foam panels worked well. Great for my studio! Can barely hear my family in the background now. No complaints.
Glenn A.
These sound absorbers work well. You have to give them at least two days to expand after being shipped. Otherwise, you’re not going to get desired results. The included 3M adhesive squares work very well too.
Phnx2797
Installed these in a room used to do podcasts and videos and they’ve actually helped quiet the room, better acoustics, and has made the noise coming from above (studio is in the basement) a lot less.
Adam Jackson
Pretty great at absorbing echoing waves. Helps the sound stay in my room with a house full of roommates. I use it to control my surround sound.
Harrison M. Kistler
Just what I was looking for. Sturdy but flexible enough. I attached to boards to make a mobile sound enclosure for recording on the go. Really nice purchase.
