As a wedding officiant, this has been a Godsend. When I perform outdoor weddings there is often no sound system, and this voice amplifier is plenty loud enough for guests seated in back rows to be able to hear. Great value, good quality. Rechargeable, no need for batteries.

As an educator now teaching while wearing a mask, this product projected my masked voice throughout the classroom, where the students are spread out around the room and while the air purifier is running all day long, in addition to the heat/ac. The product is lightweight for short term use, but after wearing it around my neck all day, it started to get heavy. There is a clip to hook it to your belt, but I seldom if ever wear a belt so that's not really helpful to me. I wish it came with a belt so I could wear it like a fanny pack. Maybe I would rig something if it still worked. I used it for 3 full months last spring without issue. I did not use it at all during the summer months. I used it for about 1 week after school started again in August. When attempting to use it one morning, I heard lots of static, then nothing. It is fully charged. I'm disappointed.

I am a teacher who wears a mask. It is difficult enough to move around the class and project your voice and then try to breathe with the mask. Sometimes it feels I am trying to eat the mask. The speaker eases my voice projection and allows the class to hear my voice, even in the back of the classroom. I can adjust the volume and complete my classes with less effort. I have recommended this speaker to my colleagues.

I love this set up! Easy to charge and my class can hear the exercise instructions clearly over the sound at the pool. I clip it on to my exercise pants or put it in a fanny pack and it can still be heard through the fabric. The mouth piece bends to fit near my mouth and not snug on my head to cause a headache but stays put.

It does what it states, amplifies voice. Reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plastic is flimsy and the mic leaves a little to be desired. Sounds quality is ok. Allows your choice to be heard in a crowded room with lots of ambient noise (I used it at a convention), but changes your voice. Would not work for music. The down sides - The plastic is cheap and brittle. The belt clip broke in the second day. Snapped skilled putting it into my belt. The headset is a wierd construction and falls apart and then you have to stop what you are doing and put out back together. The mic is also on a headset that really wants to cover one of your ears. I end up with it sitting around my neck and it kind of works that way. Overall, it's not bad, especially for the price.

It wasn't expensive, it seems to work well and hopefully won't break down in a week as some of them do, it amplifies well and offers other features, too. I mostly wanted sound amplification. I don't know what sheerness is in this case, so it got 1 star. I would have liked the volume to be a bit higher, the maximum isn't very high. The only thing that I don't like in this product is the buttons that are impossible to see on the shiny surface. Of course one learns them quickly as there are only a few.

This is a high quality product with more features than I would have even expected from a product costing more. I'm using this for a cosplay (Death Trooper) costume/helmet and it is flawless in performance. The sound quality is great. The option to have dual, simultaneous inputs is outstanding, so I can run sound effects in the background while speaking through the mic. On top of that, you get micro SD and USB imputs as well I imagine this would be good for messing around with karaoke singing too. Having a dedicated button power instead of a power on/volume adjuster was exactly what I needed, so I don't have to adjust the volume dial to the perfect volume every time I power up. That way, I can ensure I get no feedback from inside my helmet (being so close to the speaker). I could have seen myself paying twice the price I paid and being happy with the purchase.

UPDATED REVIEW: (JUNE 1ST) I was extremely happy with the amplifier at the beginning, used it 3 weeks for 3 days each week. After that time it was producing a lot of static and I was unable to use. I contact the seller and I was given another voice amplifier since the first one was not appropriately. Second one, after 5 or 6 times of use, stopped working. No sound at all. I don'y know if I am doing something wrong, or if a lot of care is needed for the voice amplifier but this is just frustrating when trying to teach, wearing a KN95 mask and the sound of the AC on. Please, research very well if you'd like to own a vice amplifier. ORIGINAL POST (DOWN HERE) I am a teacher and I simply love this voice amplifier. It makes mi teaching life so much easier and my students can clearly hear my voice when I’m speaking. Wearing a KN95 mask and speaking out loud was hard and at the end of the day my throat was killing me. The weight is ok, it doesn’t bother me but is not something that you could forget you’re wearing it. I used two ways, hanging in my neck or as a belt around my waist. Both ways work very well. It’s great, get it! You won’t regret it.

I have an issue with my vocal cords and needed a microphone amplifier. After searching the internet I found this item and had a look at the other reviews. All seemed positive so I ordered and have been using the microphone amplifier part for a couple of weeks. It’s great because I can now communicate easily with work colleagues etc. Easy to charge and the unit can be put on a belt or hung around the neck with a strap that’s supplied. It can be used for music too but I’m happy just using the microphone.

I use this in the EMS setting while in the ambulance. I bought a small microphone to go with it. The microphone sits in my MSA mask and the voice amplifier goes on my belt. Easy to use and very effective. It is a great product for me so my patients can hear me.

The Moukey amplifier and microphone headset arrived this week. It was charged out of the box. The headset was lightweight and fit around my head and on my ears very comfortably. The amp can clip on your belt, waist or carry around your neck. Stay charged for up to 10 hours. The sound was just what I needed coming from a small, powerful amplifier. I bought it because I'm a teacher at a technical school and I felt I was forcing my voice frequently which led to having my throat hurting way too much. With this amplifier, the problem was solved. It has a clip but since the amplifier is kind of heavy for its size, the amplifier sometimes falls down, so is better if you keep it in your pocket. It also has a thin strap so you can carry it like a purse. I haven't used that because I am a pastry teacher and it doesn't seem very practical to me.

This Moukey VA-1 voice amplifier is a lot of bang for your buck, you get a solid microphone, strap, USB charging cable, and the amp itself. I was surprised at how much volume was on tap. I could easily be heard from a distance. I was also surprised at all the features... a rechargeable battery that lasts a long time, 3.5mm aux input, micro SD card input, and USB input! Wow! If you are in the market for a lightweight, portable way to amplify your voice without paying too much money.... this is for you! I am super happy with this unit and I will be recommending this to others

This amplifier is quite small, wallet-size actually, but it can get very loud, so it seems to be powerful enough for most teachers and guides. The included microphone provides a good sound and the TF card (microSD), AUX and USB inputs make it very versatile, as you can have pre-recorded material or simply use it to play music. In addition to that, this amplifier is also a recorder, so you can record your voice and play it back right away. The recording quality is not bad at all, the microphone does not add too much noise and the recordings are stored as WAV files so you can download them and edit them on your computer if you need to. The belt clip is a good addition, it has been quite stable for me, so I guess the amp should remain in place when you put it on your belt, however, it also comes with a strap so you can hang it like a purse. This portability makes it ideal for a busker, as you could have a backing track on the TF card and sing on top of it with no extra cables or anything. That's also useful because if you hold it in your hand and for some reason, the amp gets close to the microphone you will have feedback, but if you keep it on your belt or hanging, you will be OK.
