OK volume controls usefull

My basic setup is a stereo poweramp into a 2x12 cab, with pedals etc providing preamp(s) and effects. I bought the Path Seeker as I wanted to try a dual amp setup, with different preamps going into each side of the stereo power amp. I'm still mucking about with pedal order etc but basically I wanted to be able to have either a clean sound with effects, then switch to dirty with a different amp/effects. This works fine. But the best is when you have both channels enabled, in almost any combination of clean/dirty, crunch/dirty, dirty/dirty it just sounds massive and awesome. A bonus are the channel volumes that I think are active and are strong enough to provide some boost as well as letting you balance levels. It was cheap enough to be worth the risk and certainly has paid off! Brilliant.

Definitely recommend!

The Donner Path Seeker is an awesome ABY Swithcer thats simple to use and works great. With two outputs (A and B), you can choose which output you want your signal to go to, including the ability to use both at once.
Incredibly useful for patching into both an amp and PA, or two amps for the choice between a clean or dirty tone (I.e. Using a Fender and a Marshall). It also includes a 0'-180' phase switch to invert the phase of channel B when necessary which is essential for preventing thin hollow tones from signal splitting. Definitely recommend!

I just purchased the Donner Path Seeker ABY Switcher Guitar Effect Pedal. It arrived in 3 business days as usual. This is a simple A/B switch pedal with one input and individual volume controls for each channel. The pedal is in all metal enclosure and build up very sturdy like all donner pedals. The switches are high quality and operate very smooth. Channel B also has the ability to invert the phase of by 180° when necessary if you require that for other operations.
I use the pedal to split the my guitar signal to two different amps. In the demonstration video bellow I have hooked channel A to a Blackstar head with an Orange 112 cab with Celestion 30 in it. This amp is set on natural overdrive without any effects or modulations and it is my "dry" channel. Channel B is hooked to a Traynor Blue amp (with a Governor speaker inside). This signal is heavily processed with several pedals (compressor, metal core distortion in front and reverb and delay in the loop chain). In this set up I could use the Path seeker to effectively switch between the two amps or use them together for a thicker sound. The individual signal could be properly adjusted for the right volume by the volume knobs.
The pedal is working great without any noise introduction in the signal paths. It switches smoothly to channels A, B or both. It is another great pedal from Donner that does not disappoint. It allows you to introduce a great versatility to your sound by giving you the opportunity to control either two amps or two different paths of your signal. It works great for me and I highly recommend it for any guitar player. Thank you Dinner and Amazon for another great product.

I use this for pedalboard faux/semi "wet-dry" recording and Katana 50 listening. I wish that this ABY+ box was smaller and in a normal format. Maybe this is why it is no longer available through Donnerdeal.
The individual volume knobs are absolutely necessary. The handy phase switch is surprisingly important for my use. I tend to prefer the (1) "wet" modulation and delays to be out-of-phase from the (2) "dry" Two Notes Cab M+ output (most of the time).

Recently bought a 2 channel amp with 2 inputs and couldn't find a footswitch so I found a ABY switch did the same thing, even able to blend the 2 channels together if I want. Anyway the Donner path seeker did exactly what I needed. Compact and every option I needed. Works wonderfully, I love it.

Excellent value! So many features in a tiny box. The independent volume controls make it convenient to match volumes on 2 different amps. Then, flip the phase switch for a whole new palate of tone! Really enjoying this new tool!

Great value, no frills, solid ABY pedal that does exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.
Great build quality, doesn't add any noise to the signal path and level knobs for each output let you control the volume for each device... The LEDs light up within the level controls, which is a neat feature. Ability to output signal to 2 devices at the same time also opens a lot of possibilities in both recording and live applications.

The value is incredible. The ability to change polarity at this price is amazing. It is more effective a tone switch than the pickup selector on my guitars.

I have had nothing but good luck with this. I think it works well for splitting the signal and being able to independently control volume for each output is helpful. The phase switch is also a welcome addition. It is no bigger than the size of my Livewire brand DI box. So it is very compact and very nice looking. The only odd thing is the requirent of the 9V power

I tried it between two amps, and between two channels on one amp, but I'll mostly use it to split a signal between an amp and Rocksmith.
It has volume controls for each output - not tho that it doesn't boost the signal, you'll want it at/near 5o'clock for parity. It also has a phase control if you're running two amps and think the sound waves are canceling.
Two stomp buttons, button one alternates the two outputs, button two turns both outputs on.
If you have output A on, hitting button two then toggles output B on/off.
However, hitting button one while both outputs are on still switches the single-output mode. So if output A is on, hitting button two makes A and B on, hitting button one then button two again makes just output B on.
I hear no extra noise when using the pedal, tho at this price point I assume it doesn't have a ground lift.
It does require a 9v adapter to work, and the first time or two you switch inputs you'll hear a slight pop.
It looks like it has an odd size, but its almost exactly the length and width of a BOSS pedal. I might start using it in place of my Blackstar amp's factory pedal because it's so much smaller.

I love this ABY pedal, it’s so simple to use! This splits your instrument signal into 2 paths that you can switch between or you can use it to output to both devices. Each signal’s volume can be controlled with the corresponding knob. It runs on 9V DC (center negative) and the enclosure is metal and very sturdy! It’s also small to not get in your way and could easily attack to your pedal without a large footprint.

Another great and usefull pedal from Donner! Really small, handy and the best thing, so simple to use!
I'm using it to duplicate my guitar signal and record 2 guitar sounds at once, and it is AWESOME!! On the video I record a clean, and an overdriven guitar at once. That way I'm able to fullfill the song with more guitars, and I get to do that using a short cut on that recording process.

This pedal works great for my electric guitar for switching between channels and finding the best one. I’m very happy with how simple it is to slide between channels with or without interference, depending on the sound I’m looking for.
One thing to note, it requires an ac adapter to use! No other adapter or power source will work, so don’t rely on batteries or power packs for this one. That’s an important point to know before you try to set up!!
It works well with the cables from the same label and I was impressed with both for their high quality components. No plated metals, all pure metals and this brings long term pure sound that doesnt wear down with use and time.
Really solid pedal for all purpose use in recording or playing.

The Donner ABY pedal is a must if you have more than 1 amplifier at home! It gets annoying having to plug and unplug a guitar into different amps even for me as a guitar hobbyist. I chose the Donner ABY pedal because of great experiences with other Donner products and because of its great price. The ABY pedal is a simple as it gets in terms of functionality. There are 2 foot switches that allow you to switch between the 2 amplifiers, or to use both amplifiers at the same time! The latter mode is a bonus feature that I like to use to get stereo sound between my Jet city and Peavy amps. Each amplifier channel has a volume dial so you can balance the amplifier outputs without needing to change amplifier settings.
The pedal itself is actually smaller than it looks. It's not much bigger than a micro pedal, just horizontal instead of vertical. It is lightweight but made of a solid metal enclosure with the clicky foot switches I am familiar with on my other Donner pedals. I haven't had any switch issues on my Donner pedals so the ABY pedal will be just as reliable. The volume dials are smooth and light up if that current amplifier is being used. I.e., both light up when both amps are being used. Like other Donner products, the ABY pedal is shipped in a nice Apple-style box with Donner stickers and an instruction sheet.
The ABY pedal is another must-have pedal that I rank up there with tuner pedals and looper pedals in terms of usefulness!

This has become my #1 device for getting the tone and fullness I want at home when playing guitar. I connect two Vox Mini 5 amps to this switch - one amp with some gain and the other with clean + chorus effect. For the verses I use Amp 1 and then for the chorus I enable both amps. Just amazing, I don’t get any hum at all. I stopped using my pedal board altogether, so that saves space as well. People think I am playing great but really it’s the two amps bringing the fuller sound. It’s like I have two guitarists playing together.
One small gripe - For the first amp, which uses the gain setting, I set the Donner pedal’s volume for this input to max, otherwise if the volume is lower it sounds like there is additional reverb even though I didn’t enable any.
Oh, and the other thing is that I wish there was an on/off switch for the pedal itself because the bright LED gets annoying when you’re not using the switch, so I have to unplug it from power.
