The sound is great! just like what i had expected. Just that the sticker on the amp is already gone the moment i received the amp so display wise is a bit... Nonetheless the amp rocks!

Amazing and just what I wanted :D Lightweight and really loud for its size. Plus I can plug in my headphones when I want to practice quietly so that’s cool too.

Very handy product for small spaces and sounds pretty good for the pricw

The sound is very good in a clean channel, excellent price-quality.

Very convenient design, the clean sound is good enough for practice and not too loud. The rechargeable battery is so convenient.

This is the smallest little amp with a huge sound. I can bring it anywhere and plug my guitar into it. I live that you can also plug your phone into the amp and use it as external speakers. I actually go pretty loud. Well worth the money. You will get like 5 hours out of it than just plug it in a USB wall charger with the included cable. The distortion sounds really good and makes guitar practicing very easy. AAA +++! Amp 5 stars.

This is a nice little amp for practice at home or on the go. Its easy to carry about and the rechargeable battery is very handy. Not tinny at all as some other small speakers are. With some volume adjustment you can use the aux in (I use iPhone with my headphone adapter) at the same time to have backing track. The two cords provided worked well and no issues with hum or buzz while using electric guitar and amplified ukulele as well. Handy to have headphone jack for quiet practice. Looks pretty good and the rubber pads on the bottom keep it from sliding around when not on a level surface.
Overall a great little portable amp!

This was a lot more than I thought it would be, I thought that it would sound hollow because it is coming out of a small speaker in a plastic housing. However, the range of tone and depth surprised me. Certainly it’s not a tube amp or a higher end solid state but it’s excellent for a small to go amp that sound clear and has a good distortion. You can really get it dirty too where you get your squeals in. It’s rechargeable so you don’t need a pocket full of batteries. It has an input and a 1.5mm headphone jack on the back as well. Definitely more than I thought and happy I bought it!

This is a cool little amp for sure, especially for the price. Don’t expect high end sounds, but it’s great as an alternate small amp for practice in another room or while traveling.
Sound: I was actually surprised that the sound is entirely serviceable! Definitely nice enough for practice in between using your larger amps. You have to essentially max out the volume for it to be usable. Has a clean and a distortion setting, both are good and if you dial in the distortion right you can get a range from light crunch to distortion. Again, don’t expect pro level quality, but it’s definitely usable in situations where you can’t have your large amp.
Material: I was not really impressed with the materials at all, but again the price is the main driver here. Plastic is pretty cheap, but the enclosure seems solid enough. The dials/knobs are a bit wobbly, but work fine - not sure how well they would hold up long term.
IMPORTANT NOTE: it could just be a defect in my unit (what I believe), but when I click the amp off I get a large feedback sound like when you disconnect an 1/4 cable from a guitar/amp while the amp is on. Kind of annoying but not a huge deal.
Other features are good - can use headphones or line-in external audio to use it as a speaker or to jam along with songs.
Overall, pretty decent for the price!

I really do like this amp. It took a bit to figure out because there is not really any instructions that come with it. It was already charged up a bit before I used it. The distortion sounds good on it. I'm just noodling around with this guitar as I'm still teaching myself how to play. So don't make fun of my lousy video intro of 25 Or 6 To 4. Thanks!
I wanted something portable for practice and it's loud enough for personal play. It comes with a cable for charging and aux input cable. The sound quality isn't that bad for an inexpensive amp. It has good built in effects. It would be nice if it comes with a carrying case though. The sounds quality is pretty decent when you consider it's a tiny speaker driven by a 3W amp.
I hope you found my review on this to be helpful. If you do, please mark it so. Thanks for reading my review.

I saw several reviews complaining that the amp was making no sound. I had the same problem, but discovered the following: you must turn *both* the Master Volume button and the Dist On volume button for the amp to make a sound, even if the switch on the back is set to Clean and you don't want to use distortion. It's weird and the manual doesn't mention it, but once I had both volume buttons turned up, I had glorious clean tones!
Please note this is a *practice amp*, it is only 3W and I think it sounds best with the Master Volume at least at 12 o'clock. While it was loud enough that my wife asked me to turn it down while I was recording the video for this review, it is really best for practice/personal use, and I will review it as such.
This thing is tiny! I took pictures next to my guitar to give you an idea of the scale. I also took a picture next to my Danelectro Honeytone which is my older practice amp. The Donner defintely has a more modern look.
With its more moderm electronics the Donner has a wider range of tones and has two "channels" once for clean tones and one for distorted tones.
Another important aspect of practice amps is easy power solutions: my Honeytone takes 9V batteries which is expensive to replace and go dead quickly, but the Donner has a built-in battery that lasts for a long time (I don't know how long, haven't had to recharge it yet). you can easily top it off by plugging it into any USB plug.
The MP3/phone player input is a great feature, it lets you play along with your favorite music and "jam tracks" (something I wish I could have done on my Honeytone)
The headphone jack cuts the speakers but still lets you listen to the tone you dialed in, for silence practice.
The amp is perfect for situations where you don't have much room: RV camping, dorm room, the office (yes, I have a guitar in my office). I travel a lot with a small travel guitar, and this Donner amp will replace the Honeytone in my suitcase from now on.

Perfect for low volume practice in a bedroom or flat without upsetting the neighbours at 2am if you sometimes practice during the night as I do but also loud enough when turned up. It doesn't sound tinny and works fine with any effects unit you use as well, or just plug your guitar straight in. Small and easily portable. Don't expect it to sound like a big floor amp, but the tones that come out of it at 3 watts are good and ideal for guitar practice without causing a riot.

Got this a portable practice amp to keep in my bedroom or when I'm traveling for work and want to keep up with guitar.
Been very happy with it, it's been everything that I needed. The rechargeable battery is great, no need to worry about carrying around batteries or a pack, just plug it into a USB port and it's charged and ready to go. I've never played for the stated 5 hour battery time, but within a 1-2 hour practice session with breaks in between, the battery has always lasted.
I use the clean tone mostly, but the distortion works great for the lower levels that I use it when I have it on - especially if I want to play more bluesy or rock riffs when practicing. The tone knob is perfect for simple emphasis on either bass, treble, or mid tone shaping.
Also seems fairly sturdy. I haven't dropped it from a significant height, but I've certainly tossed it around in a travel bag or on the bed and had no real issues. The rubber feet keep it firmly planted as well so there's not any extra vibration from sound coming out of it.

There is a LOT to like about this amp, I have to say! (however, there are some functions that I do not get to experience fully, or at all, as I am an ukulele player, not a guitar player…and those functions do not apply…so I can’t really speak to them effectively)
Pros:
-Price. Very affordable
-Compact. This would be easy to take a variety of places.
-Value—divided into a few sub-topics:
*comes with 2 cables; a Power Cable to connect to a charger (which it does not come with, but is a universal connection, and you probably have one plugged into your wall right now that already works for your phone and tablet, etc, etc…), and the other cable to is the audio cable which can be connected to other auxiliary devices, which leads to the next point…
*can be used as a speaker for mp3 devices or cd players or radio or whatever, as long as you can connect them by audio cable! You won’t be getting surround sound, but it does put out a lot of volume! I actually like it better for that purpose than another, higher priced small amp that I have (which sounds muffled)…this has a very clear sound.
*see above, PUTS OUT A LOT OF SOUND. Sure, it says 3 watts per speaker, and that is not going to fill a stadium, but it is surprisingly robust. And again, puts out better and clearer sound than another (more expensive, brand name) small 5 watt amp that I purchased…and it is not just a 1 watt difference, I can assure you.
*Battery power
Cons:
-For me to get the most out of this amp with my A/E ukulele, or with another ukulele using a portable pickup, I have to turn on not just the power, but the Distortion volume dial…I will get NO sound just by turning it on. Seems odd to me, since my instrument clearly is not about distortion, but that dial becomes the 2nd half of “on” in terms of hearing sound from my ukes. Luckily, the distortion volume dial is just that, a volume dial, so I CAN adjust that as needed.
-It does not come with the jack cable that goes to your instrument…but again, you may already have one. If not, you can get some very inexpensively. (Hint: this brand actually has some great cables, even, for really low price! That is where I got mine a few months ago, and I am very happy with them.)
Not really Cons, just observances:
-I am not a guitar player, but a ukulele player, and some of the functions on this mini-amp are lost on me. I probably should have read more into the name of the product (Mini Guitar Amp), but as it is marketed seemingly near a bunch of ukulele stuff, and since my background with this company started with a uke, my mind assumed it would work…plus, I do believe I asked that question to Donner either through Amazon or directly prior to purchase and was assured that it works. I am really NOT upset by this; I don’t need a bunch of distortion choices for what I play, but it does seem odd that the Distortion Volume dial is very important to my use of this device. No biggie, though. And that may be a usual thing, which I wouldn’t know, as this is only the 2nd amp I have ever owned.
-it might bother some that there is not a charger plug included, but for the price, and for the universality of the connector cable they provided, I am not bothered at all. It also makes for more compact packaging, I am sure.
I think for the price and value, this is a great little amp, so I do recommend it. Hopefully some guitar players are able to share their thoughts as well regarding the distortion and gain functions.

This little amp is a superb practice tool.
It has two channels, both with independent volume controls. The clean tone is bright and clear and sounds great with my Telecaster. The distorted channel is respectable for a speaker of this size, with a modern fizzy distortion sound. With a little coaxing and a good use of your guitar's controls, you can get a nice bluesy crunch with it.
The unit is rechargeable and is charged via a USB cable, which is very handy! It has a tine control that affects both channels, a headphone socket and a line in.
The 3-watt speaker is easily enough for bedroom play and practice with friends or can be used as a monitor for recording.
Overall this is a solidly built, fun and practical mini amp that I highly recommend.
