It is a good sounding piece of equipment. As a beginner it is a good starter keyboard.

still a learner but good fun playing on my full keyboard

It was for my grandson and he loves it. He writes his own music and now he is able to really show case what he writes.

This is my first serious keyboard. The look, feel and sound are equal to keyboards at twice the price. I can’t really comment on the playability as I’m a complete novice, but so far I’m impressed.

Better than expected. Feels and sounds like a real acoustic piano.
Well packaged
Prompt and efficient delivery
It is a Christmas present, and was very happily received

My wife loved the way it feels and sounds almost like a real piano.

Quick delivery, piano packaged really well. Bought this for my partner and he is really pleased with it, feels like a piano which he is impressed with. Definitely a good buy.

It's a good price and a quality product. The people who know their stuff weren't lying! It's also taken a little beating falling once or twice and powered thru! I'm really happy with it and the stand that was recommended for it

I was a little bit timid to make this purchase. I choose this piano based on the semi weighted keys. I didn’t know it was going to be so long for some reason (like hello it is like 80 something keys) but am very happy with my purchase. I have had this item for 2 months now and I love how the keys are weighted just right for someone like me getting back into piano. I really like the sound quality and the build is very well done for a digital piano. I suggest reading the manual just to be aware of all the great things this piano can do. Overall I find myself seeing this piano in my home for a long time.

Honestly, it's been so long since I touched a piano, I'm so glad I chose this. It's a wonderful design and great for beginners as well as any level player. I chose the one without the stand purely because I don't like to keep it in one place. Definitely worth the price.

We do not have room for a piano. This was a great substitute. My husband teaches our children on it.

I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. We got it for my wife who took lessons as a child. We wanted something decent, but didn't want to spend a fortune. This one has many different voices to choose from. We really like the pedal which can be used for sustain, Chorus or reverb. It has a built-in metronome to practice with and it has plenty of songs, Rhythms etc to play along with. We love the adjustable weighted keys for real feel and it is light enough to haul around. The only downside that we found at all is that the instruction book has the specific keys you use to start a certain song wrong for that song, like jingle bells isn't where it is supposed to be but we located the songs and made corrections in the book. Overall I think it was a great choice for any serious player, beginner to advanced.

This is by far one of the best quality made digital pianos for the price.
I was not sure and concerned because I thought it was too cheap but I decided to get it amd try it anyways.
The keys are heavy and realistic feeling. I like that. Some digital pianos have plastic light weight and doesn’t really respond well.
This piano has excellent response with the key weight.
Im addition, the included pedal works flawlessly and gives a nice touch to combine notes without dry empty space.
The speakers that come with it are very nice and high on the Sharp end and the lows have a nice bass to it .
I would recommend this to anyone starting out and does not have the room to get a real piano.

Got a lot of good playtime out of this product, really great for the price
-Fancy and Realistic Pedal
-Full 88 Keys
-MIDI controls are a bonus
-Great Polyphony of notes/total notes sustained (i am very picky about that haha)
-Has nice Headphone inputs in FRONT of piano instead of the back, multiple inputs included for headphones/amps
-Great compact size too! Would like to take it in my car for an open mic night soon
since I have chronic carpal tunnel problems, the keys feel very gentle to my hands
Want to give a shoutout to the team at Donner, they've seriously gone above and beyond to help me with any issues I ran into, super approachable and happy to help out, had a good experience with them
This one's a keeper, I super recommend this one to new piano players, too. It has everything you need to start playing AND more

This was recommended to us by various people in the music world. We are thrilled with this purchase. Our daughter is using this for her piano and voice lessons. The sound is clear and precise. The weight of the keys is more similar to a piano. The sustain pedal works more like those of a regular piano. This is a purchase worth getting!

My kids take piano lessons and this is a perfect keyboard for beginners. It does not have touch sensitive keys. The overall layout and design of this makes it very easy to understand and use all the functions, so a beginner can concentrate on learning how to play and read music and not worry about the complications of using the various functions. This is a good choice at a reasonable price.

Got this for kids so they can spend some time learning how to play piano instead of watching all day tv.
I’m not quite good teaches at the piano as my Mrs, she teaches kids a couple of hours a week so not too much pressure and at the same time not too loose.
The piano itself is advertised as beginners however plays in its quite very well balanced with semi-weighted keys. We’re way to play and have good sound quality.
It has build-in preset background music, tones, and demo songs.
Has a lot of useful modern technology as well, compared to our classic family piano. It has a Dual voice function, midi transpose, and mp3 control.
On the side it has build-in 25 watt powerful speakers which give incredible nice sound, it can also be linked to external speakers.
It also has pedal control which is quite handy when teaching.
Overall very nice well made full-size piano, so far happy with its performance.

Purchased this keyboard for my grandson as a complete beginner and it is perfect for him. The sound is brilliant. As a pianist I am happy to play around with it too apart from the sharp edges of the white notes! Overall I would recommend this.

With lockdown, the kids learnt to play a few instruments, meaning that they had gotten reasonably good on a basic keyboard and started to get a little underwhelmed with what it could do, so it was time for an upgrade.
The main attraction of this unit is the semi weighted keys which make play a lot smoother than a basic keyboard, it also comes with a rather large selection of tones and piano types meaning we can run through a lot of different types of play, even if most of the time it's just for fun.
It does come with integrated stereo speakers, which are great for moving around the house, however, we have ours setup with an existing amp alongside the drums and guitars we also have so it works better for us that way.
Be aware, this is not a tiny keyboard, it's quite bulky, but in a reassuring way... now to find a nice stand for it!

The Donner DEP-10 88 Key Electric Piano is a great sounding electric piano with lots of features. I would highlight three things overall: the piano sound, the keyboard feel, the potential volume.

It was much bigger than i anticipated but i am very pleased with it. The keys Look and feel just like conventional Piano keys when playing. I’m still trying to get to grips with all the other bells and whistles! Excellent value for money. The only thing lacking was a cover/bag to protect it. It has a pedal and mains transformer. You will need to purchase adapters for headphone jacks as the sockets are the large size.

On unpacking this is massive .. a full sized keyboard .. and I mean full sized. It really looks and sounds professional .. and when you play it you'll realise it's fantastic value for money ..as it feels like a real piano with its weighted keys. It suitable for any skill level from beginners to professional ... And even for fun.
Coming with a comprehensive inbuilt range of sounds and tunes I was blown away. The sound quality is great and is very loud on full volume. It comes with a pedal too something you'd expect on a much more expensive high end model.

Got this to get back into playing piano after being out of practice for a few years. Went with this model because of the high ratings, good price and ability to connect headphones/IEMs to play at any hour of the day. An excellent choice for beginners or band performers.

I have been getting really into music over the past while. I have purchased guitar and mics stand and decided to learn keyboard as well to add another layer to my band. donner equipment seems to be reasonably priced with good quality.
I love all the custom sounds that you can play with the keyboard. The keyboard is really big and easy to play.
The only issues is the board does not come with a bag or stand which would be useful but for the price you pay its great for starters.

This is simply amazing and the video I've done doesn't do it justice. On unpacking this is massive .. a full sized keyboard .. and I mean full sized. Really impressive piece of musical equipment.

Bought this for my Granddaughter’s 10th birthday, who is keen to learn keyboard and flute. Very impressed all around with my purchase.
Suitable for beginners who wish to move on to play a full-size digital piano. It has an 88-key semi-weighted design. This is a great upgrade from her first keyboard
High-quality 25-watt is suitable to do both on stage and at home. This can also be connected to the MP3 device. This is worthy of 5 stars without a doubt.

Being a guitarist I’ve wanted to learn piano for ages to enhance my song writing.
After looking through all the best rated options the Donner DEP-10 stood out for good reviews and fantastic features.
Must recommend for any beginner who wants a solid instrument to learn and excel on, or even a seasoned player who wants one packed with features and great tonal opportunities.
I’m going to try learning drums down the line and I’ve already seen an electronic drum kit from Donner, and after the experience I’ve had, i can’t see myself ordering one from another company!

I ordered the Dep 20 for myself having not played in years and I love it. Great sound a little chunky but nothing to worry about. Needs a proper double braced stand as she is heavy.
Excellent purchase I am very pleased indeed.

This is a basic piano but is well made, easy to use, has a lot of features, and sounds fantastic. The matt and gloss finishes look really good for an instrument in this price range. Put it on a nice stand and pair with a piano stool and you have all you need.
It has all the inputs and outputs you could need including two headphone sockets! The feel and weight of the keys is realistic and based on an initial review of the key features reveals a generous set of effects, voices, tempos and other functions to explore.
Comes with a manual, power supply, single foot pedal and large music stand. Recommended as a great value for beginners and those looking for a portable piano with lots of features.

This is a great beginner piano. One that I expect to last a very long time. I recommend it as one of the best value options for a digital piano. As long as you are okay with the lighter keys. As the video is a basic review of the piano I just want to expand on a few points below.
The Keys: So I’m by no means a professional when it comes to the piano. I have done a good amount of research however because as long as this piano is working I don’t plan on buying another one. Essentially key types break down into these categories:
Non-weighted: Think those cheap, smaller keyboards we’ve all played at some point. These keys can often be smaller and provide little to no feedback. No serious digital piano should have these and if it does you should avoid it.
Semi-weighted (Donner DEP-10): The name is misleading in my opinion. Semi-weighted keys just means they use lighter weights and springs. At least that’s what my research has shown. This will result in a key that’s more like an organ in how it responds. It’s lighter to push and quicker to rebound. All keys will have the same weight but otherwise are like a true piano key in every other way.
While my hands can tell it’s not an acoustic piano they’re still quite happy with the easy action. I may prefer a medium-high tension bass string but when it comes to keyboards musical and mechanical I much prefer a lighter touch. Also bonus points to Donner for including a dust guard on the keys! That should help with longevity as well as just keep the insides a little nicer.
Weighted (Donner DEP-20): Donner does have another model with weighted keys. This comes with a corresponding increase in both price and weight. As you may have guessed from the previous description weighted keys are just heavier and less springy then semi-weighted. They still retain the same weight across all the keys and they’re still otherwise entirely like traditional piano keys.
Hammer Action: These are as close to a traditional piano key as you can get. They’re weighted but they’re heavier on the bass end just like an acoustic piano. Those who are investing heavily in a professional level digital piano will want to go for one of these.
Technology features: As I say in the video the only thing I really looked into was the different sounds it can make. It comes equipped with 7, which for me is more than enough. I just wanted the default tone and it sounds very good. I love that it has 4 speakers so that it can better capture the depth of the low notes and do so at respectable volumes. Plus there’s two headphones out for duets, which in my opinion is a must have feature. It comes with a sustain pedal and there’s options to use it as a MIDI controller, add pedals, and just use it as a stereo and play stuff off a USB stick.
Like many other keyboards it’s got an included song bank. I personally have never understood the appeal but it’s in this keyboard. Along with a chord mode I demo and talk about in the video that essentially gives you an octave of chords done by a string section for you to play piano over.
All of these features are accessed through the use of 3 buttons and the keys on the keyboard. So this is one manual you’ll want to keep. The keyboard itself does label what keys do what but it’s still nicer to have the full explanation. The manual does a surprisingly good job of displaying what keys and buttons do what functions.
