And the best feature is that it has one lovely piano sound set, so no listening to the kids scroll through a million presets looking for the fart noises! The whole family has been really enjoying this - a great alternative if you can't fit an acoustic piano in your house :)

This piano is a good value. It sounds great. I like the weighted keys and the versatility of sounds that can be used. I have played the piano for years, so I am not a beginner, and did not need the added beginner lesson book, which was quite good. It does not take up much room although has a full-sized keyboard. I put it together myself, although it would have been nice to have another person to assist.

My only issue / complaint is that the tiny pins on the pedal cord broke and I can't seem to find a replacement cord.

My husband bought this Digital piano for my birthday. I had been looking for one and this was it. It does what wanted it to do. It has different sounds. Success piano, organ, and symphony sounds and others. It records and has a headphone jack. I put it together myself. But had to have men lift the keyboard on the base. It is heavy.

As a beginner piano player I wanted something that was reasonably priced yet still giving a good “feel” to learn on. I have been very pleased with it, in particular because it looks nice and so can be front and centre in the living room (which means it gets played more). The only thing I would change is I wish it had a retractable key cover to protect the keyboard when it is not being played.

I would have given this a 5-star review, but I found the assembly instructions difficult to follow. And like with most electronics these days, a full user manual was not included. I had to download and print the 60+ page manual myself. Without the manual, the many features of this piano are impossible to understand.

This is my first piano and I'm super happy with the purchase. I love that it comes with a lesson book to get me started. The quality of the piano amazing. Assembly was not difficult but took some time to understand what parts needed to be fastened first. After that it was quick. They don't recommend you place it on hardwood as it may scratch it, especially during assembly so we stopped assembling it and ran out to buy a rug. Shipping was fast and it arrived earlier than expected. There was no issues or damage during shipping.

We bought the Donner DDP-80 instead, which has a deeper sound, louder volume, and much softer sustain pedals. The build and finish had a few minor blemishes that required some easy touch-up with a pen and razor blade, but happy overall, especially since it was also much cheaper.

I started learning the piano back in the early 1980s at the age of 8 and by the time I was 24 had reached Grade 7. I hadn’t touched a piano in 25 years due to having no room in the house and wanted to take it up again. I was nervous to start with that the Donner DDP-80 would have the feel of a real piano but having now played it I need not have worried. The feel is exactly as I remember my old acoustic piano used to be. I may be incredibly rusty but I really am loving re visiting the pieces I used to play as a teenager/young adult. The tone of the DDP-80 is incredible. When I told my wife I wanted to buy a digital piano she was very sceptical that the it would sound like a real on but she was amazed when I started to play it at how good it really is. The DDP-80 also looks amazing in my new music room.

I was worried about getting a damaged item due to shipping and packaging or a missing items after reading some of the reviews. However, my worries were for nothing. The quality of the material is amazing. I love the black finish. It sounds better than my old antique acoustic piano. It comes with sound options which is very easy to manipulate. I would recommend watching the youtube video on this model to assemble since the paper instructions are terrible. With the video is was very easy. You won't regret! Also, I contacted the seller to ask couple questions and they were super helpful and on time getting back to me with answers.

I have played piano for nearly 10 years and I am used to playing on an 8-foot grand but got this piano for my apartment. It is really not bad, you can adjust the way it sounds to make it more realistic along with key sensitivity and it looks sleek. Although the piano is nothing compared to the real thing for the price I feel it is worth it. Getting used to the plastic keys and the weight of the keys is a bit of a learning curve but if you've never played on a real piano I dont see any problems with it.

This piano was easy to put together. 3 keys didn’t work at first, but given a little time after setting it up and the keys acclimating to my environment, as well as repeatedly pressing down on the silent key and the keys right around it, the 3 keys now work perfectly. The higher-scale tone is beautiful, but the lower and deeper range is not too robust.

The FAQs state that the dimensions given represent the full size of the piano, i.e. including the legs. In fact the legs extend beyond the length of the piano. This has meant that we have had to put the piano in a less convenient place. The piano itself is lovely however

I generally don't pay too much attention to brands, and preferring a cheaper off-brand version of a product about 80% of the time. In this case however, the item was a gift, so I opted for DONNER even though the price tag is significantly higher than other brands.
DONNER definitely lives up to its reputation, and the product did not disappoint. It was evident that Yamaha did not cut any corners; even the packaging of the item itself seemed to be treated with consideration and care.
The piano itself plays beautifully, with rich acoustics and ergonomically satisfying weighted keys. It was easy to assemble, and easy to use. I’ve played the piano for over 50 years and I must say this is the best keyboard/piano I’ve ever played. The feel of the keys are a dream! I also like the headset feature because it gives me the opportunity to play anytime even at 3:00am. However the only thing I’m disappointed about is the headset jack. I had to buy an adapter in order to use a headset. But all in all in my opinion this is the absolute best piano for the money!

The Donner ddp-80 is terrific, my daughter loves playing as it sounds and feels like a real piano. Of course this is better for us as the slim and attractive design is easier to fit in our home. She has been playing for years and needed something more than the keyboard we had. Her piano teacher recommended this model and we are very happy with it. Delivery was quick and the contents were safe and well packaged. It took about 45 minutes to put together. We couldn’t be happier
