My daughter has always wanted to learn violin, but they were always way out of budget. Couldn't believe it when I saw your beginners violin at that price! Had to buy it right away. It is beautiful! Unfortunately I have to wait 'till May to see her face, because that's when her birthday is. It's going to be a long couple of months. Lol :)

Excellent for the price and delivery was super-fast (ordered just days before Christmas, not expecting it to arrive by the day!). Student needs to grow into it slightly!!

Perfect for my daughter who is learning. Really quick delivery too.

This is a great starter for my 9 year old granddaughter who let it slip she fancied learning the violin !

It’s a great violin for beginners, comes with everything it says, the package wasn’t damaged. Everything is pretty good, too just need patience to set it up (plenty of tutorials on YouTube) .

My first violin ever, I was able to get it set up fine in a half hour with help from YouTube, and I discovered, to my amazement, that it plays and sounds exactly like a Stradivarius.
And for the first 500 hours or so of my playing violin, that will remain true. After 10,000 hours of playing? Maybe not. But for those first 500 hours this instrument, as long as it is set up properly (which is difficult with any violin), definitely isn’t going to be the weak point in my product.
Would I feel better starting with a $350 kit than a $79 one? Maybe, but I might in turn be scared of damaging it (these are all fragile) and the investment would be at turns motivating and guilt-inducing alike. It’s the low points of the experience we have to watch out for, when you feel enough disgust to quit. Getting a new violin at the 500 hour mark will be a signal of progress and a boost of enthusiasm; if I survive that long I will also have a better idea what to look for in a fiddle.

I have always wanted to learn to play the violin but figured that buying a brand-new one would be prohibitively expensive. I considered getting a used one but was concerned that I wouldn't know what to check, given I don't know much about them. I saw this and thought that, at this price, it was worth checking out even if it meant it was of inferior quality. I must say I am pleasantly surprised. It comes in an excellent case that feels like it will protect the violin incredibly well. The violin is of better quality than I expected. I did have a little trouble getting it tuned as the pegs wouldn't stay put. But after I watched a video about how to tune a violin, I discovered that sometimes you have to push the tuning pegs in a little. This did the trick and I was able to get it in tune very easily after that. I have already started an online violin course, and am really happy with the quality of tone that I am getting. Would it be acceptable to a professional violinist? Well, I'm sure they would opt for something of higher quality and at a greater expense. But at this price, this is an excellent bargain for a beginner like me. The accessories that come with it: a shoulder rest, an extra pack of strings, a spare rest, a rosin block, and a bow of course. Watching a couple of videos to see how to set it up (tuning, placing the bridge, adding rosin to the bow, etc.) and you'll be good to go. If you're interested in taking up this instrument, you can't go wrong with making this your first violin, and I think that having a luthier take a look at it (which I always do when I buy a new guitar, my primary instrument) will get it set up to be even better.

This violin is perfect to practice for my 6 years old kid. I picked the 1/4 size and it fits well. The sound is also good, actually better than expected. The case also great to put and very light. I already recommended this one to my friend and her 8 years old daughter with 1/2 size liked this one too.

I bought this violin to begin to learn violin and because the all in one package was attractive to me. One thing i found great that even my violinist friends were impressed is how soft the tuners are. Usually they are very hard to turn in most cheap violins, but in this one, they were very easy to turn and tune.
As someone new to violin, i found the package very complete, even with spare strings which i didn't expect. And the installation process was very easy too. The video was clear and easy to follow that i could set it up myself without any need.
The case is also lightweight and it has enough space for the violin, the bow and extra things to carry.
Now, about the violin itself, it is honestly very easy to play. I've played before other cheap violins and they were harder to play. You could feel that you needed to press harder to make it sound, but this one was very easy to play since the first time. For someone like me, a beginner, this violin has been a great first instrument to have, and with everything that comes in the package and the total price, it was a great investment

I picked up this violin as a beginner. I am giving my cousin guitar lessons, in exchange for violin lessons (via zoom, I think he got the better deal, violin is hard). The violin got to my house on time and there was no damage. It comes with a case, rosin, extra strings, extra bridge, and a bow. The case is really nice for a beginner instrument and the violin seems durable and not flimsy. I gotta say it's cool and sophisticated, I just wish my ability to play it wasn't. My cousin agrees that this is a suitable beginner violin. Cheers!

Very nice violin. Great quality. Love the case. Nothing bad to say.

Quality of this violin is excellent craftsmanship for a beginner. I’m 65 and my father who has passed was a wonderful musician who played multiple instruments. One was the violin. I remember falling asleep to his nightly playing. Music followed into my genes as well singing in opera and musicals. I bought this for my two grandsons hoping they might have an interest in learning an instrument. I have several things I play like my father it gives me alone time to enjoy. I am well versed in the quality of instruments and I found this violin to be well built with proper thickness and weight. Value was on par for a beginner violin. I also bought a guitar for them to learn both. I suggested they watch various YouTube videos on the different styles and sounds each can make. And the importance of learning the basics so they can develop into a style they prefer. Lesson for both will start in the spring as I hope this virus calms down. Definitely recommended for music is the international voice of the world.

When the violin was at my door, I noticed that the packaging was nice and carefully packed and did no damage to the instrument at all. The case has a big pocket on the side, which to me is very useful so I can put my sheet music along with my violin. The zipper was surprisingly very smooth when opening, unlike my previous violin case that has a zipper that kept getting stuck. The violin’s color stands out a lot to me. I noticed that this violin’s color looks very natural and has a smooth and glossy surface, making it look very professional. The most important thing that made me love this violin is the pegs. When I was tuning this, the pegs moved smoothly and it wasn’t hard at all to tune, unlike the one I had before that makes my fingers hurt when I try to turn the pegs. The fine tuners also didn’t hurt my fingers while I was tuning. The bow looks very natural as well. There are TWO provided bows. I lent my friend the second extra bow because they needed one to borrow, and they told me that the bow is unique both in quality and appearance. I can tell that the hair of the bow is very sturdy. They even provided rosin and TWO bridges for the violin. They also provided extra strings for me to use, which I find very thoughtful because it can be a backup for my violin. There is also a tuner that is very easy to carry because of its size. Speaking of strings, when I played this, the sound was perfect. It didn’t sound scratchy at all and was very easy to play. The string is also super sturdy and isn’t easy to break. There is also a little box in the violin in the case to put rosin in there, so I don’t have to put it in another bag. One last thing: I just found out that you can carry it by hand, or you can carry it like a backpack! Very convenient! I am so thankful to have found this. I have to be honest, this is worth the price!

Very nice violin. Great quality. Love the case. Nothing bad to say.

I was looking for a violin for my daughter and did not want to spend too much in case she does not enjoy it. The price for this model seemed quite reasonable so I thought we would give it a shot.
I was impressed at the quality for the price. The part that impressed me most was actually the case. It is a hard case with soft lining that will protect the instrument well. The price of a similar case alone at local music shops would cost as much as this entire package with violin. I appreciate that the kit came with everything we need to get started and we did not have to run off to the store to purchase anything.
Having never tuned a violin before, I had to turn to a YouTube video help (and a free tuning app on my phone), but it was not too bad and now my daughter is successfully off on her violin adventure.

Nice violin for beginners.
Got it for my teenage daughter who needed if for high school, last year we rented one and it came up much more than buying!
The violin requires a little set up, putting in the bridge and such.
Overall this is a good deal

The product came very late, but it’s beauty as shows the picture, killed the anger in me in seconds.
It’s bright red blooms, more beautiful then any pictures is saw of violins.
As of it quality in my first use, it sounded pure and not creaking, even if I put low Rosen on the bow.
I hope it continues to satisfy me as it did today.

Wanting to cultivate children's musical literacy, the daughter chose the violin and guitar by herself. I bought this entry-level violin and let her learn.
After unpacking, I tried to pull it but there was no sound, only to realize that it took several steps to make the sound of the violin.
The violin is equipped with a shoulder rest and a fine-tuner. It also has rosin, and the violin case is also very meticulous. It looks very nice, the overall color is even and it looks very advanced.
High-cost performance, recommend to friends who are interested.

My son would like to learn violin and I fully support him. I was searching for a good violin set at local musical stores, but didn't find anything we like. Then I was able to find this violin set from the Internet. The price is very reasonable. It had very fast delivery and the violin set was intact when I received it at home. The whole set has everything we needed for my son to learn. It has a nice hollow wooden body with attractive colour. The case is very convenient for my son to carry it. I learned violin when I was a child. When I tried and played it, I love the sound of this violin. I would recommend this violin to other parents if their children want to learn to play violin.

I have wanted a violin for so many years. I finally gave in and bought this one. I'm so happy and excited about my purchase. I feel like a kid with a new toy. I'm lucky enough to have a friend that is in a band. They dont have violins, but they do have guitars, so they were able to help me to get started with this. I have a lot of learning to do with this. It is so light weight, so holding it for a long time will not be an issue at all. The quality is just so amazingly well. This was easy to set up to start using it. The case is even beautiful and very protective of the violin. I have been saving videos on line teaching how to play this and for beginners like me. So now when I get stuck in the house, I will be learning to play the violin. Yippy, exciting!

For a beginner, this has got to be the best deal ever!
You get a full size 4/4 violin with case and accessories (shoulder rest, rosin, extra bridge and extra strings)
The build and quality is very impressive for a beginner. It’s hard to justify a few hundred dollars for a beginner, but for this price, it’s a perfect “try out” to see if this journey continues.
The sound is very nice and robust.
The violin does require setup as it ships without the bridge in place. Highly recommend an experienced player/teacher help you as it is a bit involved if you don’t know what it supposed to sound like. Because you of course will need to tune it.
The case is awesome. It has backpack straps and the padding and secure strap inside are great quality.
The tuning pegs are well-fitted and need to be pushed in to set the tension/friction to keep in place as you turn.
And the main feature of this beginner violin is the marked neck fingerboard. It really helps as you learn the finger placement.
Overall, I am so happy with this purchase!

It's a great buy for beginner at this price, the size is very fit for my 10 years old kid who just starting play violin at school and the sound is nice, I should admit the sound is not as beautiful as those big brand violin from local store but that will cost over 600 or more! so for beginner who want to have a try before make big investment, this violin is really a good choice for them to start. so far my kid play this violin over 1 month and she like it.
one comments:
if you find the violin go out of tune quickly, my teacher said it's normal for a new violin, it could take a few weeks to settle down, and most cause for earlier out of tune is due to the peg slip which you can add some chalk to make it tight.

I bought this for my son who is on the autism spectrum. We saw a violin performance on TV and he was amazed. He really wanted to try lessons, but he has a tendency to get excited about a new activity and drop it shortly after. I didn't want to sink a lot of money into an instrument so I was excited to see this at such a good price. I was expecting something a little better than a toy, but I was blown away by the quality. It's a real instrument that looks beautiful and sounds amazing. I also love the case that it comes in. It really cushions the violin so it is safe from normal wear and tear. I like that it can be carried by a handle on the side or as a backpack. It contains everything you need to get started like strings and a matching bow. This is perfect for a beginner or even as a secondary instrument for a student to use at school.

We bought this beginner violin for my 10 year old daughter. She’s small 10, so it fit her well. To someone who doesn’t know violins well, it looked beautiful and sounds great. Our music teacher, however, was not as impressed and immediately recommended a replacement. The teacher said it is an “okay” instrument, and doesn’t hold it’s tuning well. We decided to stick with this one until my daughter outgrows it, because we wanted to make sure she sticks with the violin before we invest a lot of money in an instrument. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and the price and would recommend it to anyone just starting out. However, if you are experienced you might not share the same opinion about it.
