This pedal is simple to figure out and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have a couple of noisy dirt pedals that this cleans up perfectly. It doesn't take up much space and it gives a little extra tone shaping ability that can be altered with the hard/soft switching option. Great pedal at an unbeatable price!

The Pedal works Great...Even with super high gain you can get rid of all the unwanted noise.

Its works perfectly. Without losing the signal. Very quiet

Price was right, shipping was timely and the pedal worked well. I would definitely buy more pedals from Donner.

It does what I expected it to do! I liked it.

This pedal does just what I wanted it to do. By putting it at the end of the chain of pedals, it gets rid of any noise from any of the pedals before it. Many of the B1on sounds contain a lot of hiss or hum. This pedal cleans the sound nicely before it hits the amp. I use for both electric guitar and electric bass and it works well with both.

If you use a lot of distortion and have problems with noise, this pedal is a good and inexpensive way to get rid of it

Here is the Donner Noise Killer on one of my pedal boards. Notice the Donner fuzz just below. These pedals are really great! In my view, you can talk, compare, argue, search and research all day... What it comes down to is, your tone and sound. Donner makes quality pedals that deliver both at a resonable price!

Just getting back into music. Bought the Donner Blues driver and the Tuti Chorus. Was getting a lot of hum and cackle coming through. Just bought the Noise Killer and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. IT also allowed me to do more tuning to the Blues Driver to get a better sound. There's a few more pedals I'll be picking up.

Great noise gate. Can’t believe how well it works at the price!

The Donner Noise Killer does just that. Kills noise. I'm using high distortion and wanted to cut the noise but not choke out the signal and the NK works perfectly! Great pedal for a great price.

I’m a big fan of the Donner Noise Killer noise gate pedal. It definitely does the job. I play in a band that does a range of music from modern country to pop and Americana. I’m constantly changing effects for the song. The Donner pedal really dials back the single coil hum.

The noise killer lives up to its name. Kills all the hiss from my high gain pedals. No complaints.

These Donner mini pedals are a great bang for the book. Built well, and work nicely.

This noise gate works so well that I bought a second one for my other pedal board.

Donner Noise Killer. This pedal is amazing for eliminating single coil pickup noise. And great for killing noisy effect pedal buzz etc. Extremely impressed very useful on any pedal board. A must have pedal. Highly recommended.

Donner Noise Killer is a Limiter effects mini pedal. Very well built & comes in it's own nice little box. The limiter is pretty simple to use. you just set the threshold to your liking. There is a choice between a Hard & Soft Effect. All of the Donner products that I have purchased have been great! their prices are also very reasonable especially when compared to other pedals on the market.

I recently ordered this mini pedal because I am someone on a limited budget and in search of great tone for less money. I was happily surprised when this pedal arrived and it's fantastic. It comes in a very nice box and is built very well. It is a metal housing and all the jacks, buttons and knobs are well constructed and housed. The best part is that it does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. When turning the knob it slowly reduces noise and hum that you may get from other pedals before it (or pickups) so when you have your hand off the guitar there's no buzz at all. It also doesn't change your tone at all (which was a huge concern of mine going in). Overall I'd recommend this pedal to anyone. It's a great small pedal that does it's job very well and you don't have to break the bank for it.

If you are looking for a simple, easy to use and understand pedal to reduce your noise, then the Noise Killer is for you. This pedal is sold at a super affordable price, has small foot print, and is housed in a very nice strong metal casing. All connections, including power, were tight and sturdy. And it's GREEN too!
This true bypass Noise Killer pedal runs on a 9v adapter, which is not included, features a hard/soft switch as well as a threshold knob for adjusting the noise reduction degree. When the signal is above where the threshold is set, the gate will open. If that signal falls below the threshold, then the gate is closed. The higher you set the threshold, the stronger the signal will need to be to open the gate. The hard/soft switch determines how abrupt or gradual the gate closes. I personally prefer the hard setting on this pedal since the soft setting seems to delay the closing of the gate about an extra second. Also, note, a noise gate doesn't remove unwanted noise from the signal. When the gate is open both the signal and the noise will pass through.
Of course, everyone's playing is different, and you will want to find the sweet spot for the nuances in your playing style. I would suggest once you find the spot where the gate closes, maybe dial it back just a bit. I find the pedal works best right after the distortion/OD pedals in my set up. If I were using the gain stage on my amp, I would throw the Noise Killer into the FX loop as the first pedal.

I bought this pedal to replace a Rocktron Hush that was stolen with a bunch of my gear a few months back. Construction wise, very well built, heavy, and I like the sleek design...very easy to fit onto my pedalboard and has the jack to plug into my power supply. The dial is surprisingly sharp...whereas the Hush, while a great suppress pedal in it's own right, was kind of "tone-killing" after a certain point so to speak. I haven't really experimented with the hard/soft switch yet much, but I'm sure there's players out there who know how to utilize this more than I do. I have a few other Donner pedals, and while they might not be big-name or to professional standards, for the hobby home guitarist like me, the value can't be beat.

This Noise Killer from Donner really did the trick in getting rid of unwanted single coil pickup hum! Brilliant value for money! This is my 2nd Noise Killer pedal and I'm extremely happy with them both.

I had finally got round to building my pedal board.
I had been collecting pedals over time and when I'd come to play, I was getting annoyed with the time it was taking to set them all up. Then I'd forget cables, power supplies, etc., and end up annoying myself.
My mates had been telling me over and over to build a pedalboard.
So, I got a board, and went about assembling the six pedals I though I had, to discover I had nearly double the amount. Yikes!
Anyway, once built, isolated power supplies used and quality patch cables utilised, I was still getting noise.
I have a couple of different overdrive and distortion pedals along with a boost pedal.
If I want to go from clean to overdrive, I'd naturally incorporate some noise.
So I asked my mates and they said to stick a noise gate at the end of the chain.
Did some research, and this little box came up at about 4th on most lists and the price was right brand new on Amazon. I'd seen good reviews for other Donner pedals although never owned one so: Click, Click and it was ordered.
It arrived in a couple of days. Boxed. Nothing really fancy about what you get: pedal and short instruction sheet, but what do you actually need?
Stuck it on the end of the chain after the boost and it just works. No noise.
The only pedal it can't tame on my board is a Blackstar HT-Distx, but that one's such a nasty beast of a pedal, if you're using it, you've just got to expect you are going to make noise.
So I'm well happy with it. It's tiny as well so takes up little space. There's rubber on the base that has to be removed to get velcro to stick to the pedal board, but that's nothing new. It's solidly built and easy to operate.
All in all, a cracking little pedal. Did exactly what I hoped it would do. Nothing more. Nothing less.
