The unit feels really solid, the keys are well weighted and the sound is very good. My only gripe would be that the corner edges of the keys are a little sharp so feel rough and unfinished and when you have been playing for a while you can no longer adjust the metronome beats per minute so you have to reboot it.

Bought the Donner DEP-20 Portable Keyboard 88-Key Weighted with Sustain Pedal, arrived promptly, great sound, got this as I have just started to learn piano, everyone in the house loves the fact that it has a headphone socket, but yea nice keys and good feel.

8 keys are out of tune with the rest of the keyboard. So far the service dept has failed to suggest an effective remedy. I will be sending it back in the next week unless the issue is fixed.

As a beginning piano keyboard it’s a perfect investment to make sure the student is going to stick with it. Compared to the professional digital piano I take lessons on, this keyboard has some differences in sound quality and key weight. I’ve done my best to adjust the settings to match the lesson piano, and it’s pretty close, but the differences are obvious. Having said this, this keyboard isn’t really a performance piano and as a learning piano it serves its purpose perfectly for the price and value. If you are a new student, I strongly recommend starting with this piano with the knowledge that it may need to be replaced for a performance piano down the road.

Excellent piano, if you want a straightforward, weighted, no frills, great sounding piano. Yes, it cannot compare to a wooden piano, but for the price and the size, it is quite awesome. It comes with a pedal, has jacks for headphones and tbh, for the price you'd be hard pressed to find better. Only critique: it's pretty "tall", so depending on the stand you use, it may end up being a bit high up.

Heavy, but beautiful, and it sounds good to me as a beginner so far. I have no experience to compare it to a traditional piano. It feels like my fingers will get a workout because the only experience I’ve had before was with a tiny keyboard for toddlers, which was a breeze to press down on the keys :-)

I am brand new at piano but when I opened it up I was very impressed. The feel and the weight of the keys feels very nice and very much like a big grand piano. The instructions are great also and written in very good English. The piano probably weighs about 30 pounds and it is very well built. I would buy it again! I am really blown away by this keyboard, especially for the price. The tone is great. The unit feels solid. The key action is nice. My only 'complaint' is that it's really difficult to to get (quickly/efficiently) to desired voices. There needs to be a number key-pad so musicians can punch in the number of the desired voice rather than having to scroll thru the list of voices (in menu form).

It has an excellent "feel", has quite a lot of neat effects to employ as one progresses, and seems to be of hearty, quality construction. Hoping to purchase a stand and cover later, but for now I set it up on my dining room table and use a bar stool to drive the neighbors crazy! :-)
