Your signal isn’t diminished in the least when it’s off and durable beyond belief because it can handle a curb stomp American History X style if it needed to. Being new to the world of electric guitars & effects, I thought I'd start with some cheaper pedals to see where I might want to spend more money on better sound. This was one of the cheaper delay pedals I saw so I gave it a try. Although it may lack the features of more expensive pedals, it definitely didn't disappoint. You can dial it in for short delay & echo for a bluesy Stevie Ray sound or go the opposite direction and get the full on echo/ repeat that sounds like U2 & Pink Floyd. Putting it at the end of the effects chain seemed to work best for me. Good sound quality for a low price. I think this one is gonna stay in the chain a while!

Best pedal for me for me for quality of sound and takes up little space on pedalboard. Look, if you want dozens of presets and tap delay then go get a boutique pedal. If you leave it on most of the time (like me) for subtle effect and you don’t mind bending down to tweak in between songs then this is perfect! I like a touch of chorus+delay on always for that 80s Rush sound or a more goth rock vibe. Love this little pedal!

Does its job well for the price! Can even be a good affordable reverb with the delay time small enough and feedback/echo tweaking. The build is sturdy and my only complaint is that the rubber bottom makes it trick to get velcro to stick but it can stick with some trial. Also the box is very well, its got a magnet closing system so it wont open so easily.

Donner seems to specialize in delivering low cost winners. I've tried a number of their products from other pedals to small midi keyboards and I've been pretty impressed all around - yes, it's inexpensive stuff and there are cost saving decisions made, but the fundamental functionality of each unit I've tried was great. This delay reminds me very much of good PT2399 chip based delays I have used in the past which include some boutique favorites, which sound analog but work via high-frequency sampling for the delay line. It has a good range of delay time adjustment and the controls give you what you need to adjust your wet (effected) signal level. You don't get any modulation effects on the delay trail or anything like that, but for the price you probably couldn't expect to. What you do get is a great sounding basic delay. This would make a great gift for a musician who doesn't have a bunch of pedals together yet, and for me it serves its purpose as a simple mono delay I can put on my guitar if I don't want to mess with plugins, that does not sacrifice sound quality.

For ￡30, this pedal is close enough to whatever you are probably looking for. It sounds pretty good and is built pretty well, at least from what I can tell from the outside. It is in a metal enclosure, so it should hopefully be pretty durable. Overall, if you expect a ￡300 reverb pedal for ￡30, it's not gonna happen here. But, you can get an excellent sounding delay for ￡30, and save the rest to fill out the rest of your board.

For the price, you can't go wrong with the Donner's Yellow Fall delay. It sounds as good as some of my other more expensive delay pedals for well below half the cost. I use it daily when writing and recording. Seriously, for the price of this pedal you really are getting a quality delay. I turn the delay attack speed all the way up to get a fast attack spring reverb for a surf and rockabilly sound and then turn the delay speed down for that Joy Decision moody sound. It doesn't feel cheap, or look cheap, comes in a nice little box and it does it's job well. Don't be one of those pretentious elitists who think that if you don't have that ￡400 Boutique fx pedal then you're not a "real" musician. Just get it. It's seriously less expensive than most dinners, or a night out at the bar (way cheaper)

I absolutely love these pedals. I've had other Donner pedals and have never had one fail. After some prompting, I tried several boutique pedals in the 300 to 400 range. Those pedals were returned and my two trusty Yellow Falls reside on my board. Every boutique pedal colored my tone...yuck. This pedal won't color tone.
