There are headphone jacks if you need to be quiet. There are a crazy number of presets installed. The keys have a nice spring to them. It folds to make carrying easier, and only weighs 8 lb!

Bought this for my teenager who is learning the piano but lives in a flat where noise must be kept to a minimum. The semi weighted keys make it feel close to a real piano and the headphone socket is a lifesaver for keeping the neighbours happy!

It isn’t anywhere near as good as a concert Steinway or my concert Bluthner, but is does not pretend to be. As a concert pianist, I use it solely as an easily transported full sized piano keyboard whilst travelling and, for this purpose, for me it is a life-saver whilst on longer holidays and away from my main pianos. I was wary at first but now extremely glad I bought it, especially as I have numerous extremely difficult piano works to learn once I am back in harness. I can do the fingering, chord progressions and break the back of these pieces which will save me a great deal of time once I am back home.

For the price the product is OK, internal sounds are basic at best but are ok, weak speaker output but expected for its weight and size. My only real issue is the tape used on the keys, took 2 days to remove it and its residue. I use it mainly as a controller for ipad pro, well designed and a bargain price, just use a different tape on keys please

At 70 I decided to learn piano so I can help my grandson who is learning. I wanted the sound and feel of a piano as my grandson says at school he is taught on an electronic keyboard which doesn’t sound or feel right!
I decided to go for the big one as it folds so well for storage. However I am not putting it away as I want to practice regularly! A good investment for now.! The keys are weighted and the tone is good (to my ears), so best to learn on this as not too expensive or big and suitable for resale if I give up!

This instrument was a represent for my 6 year old granddaughter, so I have not actually played it but her Mum says that it has a lovely tone and nice action very suitable for someone without strong hands.
The folding feature for storage and simplicity of set up are much appreciated.

A friend of mine recently purchased a ￡1000 electric piano. I've seen and played with his piano a couple of times. I can easily tell the difference between this piano and that piano when I compare them. The tone and the keys, in particular. However, the difference is not significant, and it is likely unnoticed to beginners. I'm a beginner myself, and I wouldn't have noticed the difference in sound if it weren't for my friend. So, if you're a beginner, I'd say I'm satisfied as a beginner. This isn't because I'm an expert on pianos. It's because I have a positive impression of this piano after having played it as a beginner. I understand that the sensitivity of the keys to firm pressing is vital in an electric piano, and as another reviewer pointed out, it isn't perfect with this piano. However, overall, I am satisfied. The fact that it is portable appeals to me. It is durable and does not have a cheap feel to it. For beginners, I would recommend it.

I got the Eastar EP-10 Beginner Foldable Digital Piano to accompany the more full sized Eastar digital piano with the weighted keys. This one if mobile and foldable and has semi weighted keys. The quality is the same, it's just that this one is foldable and comes with a nice carrying case. It has all the features you'd expect from a digital piano and the sound / tone is very good. I like this as I can take it with me. Overall, the quality is good and this seems like a great choice for a beginner or intermediate level.

I have to state that I truly am a beginner when it comes to piano. But who has room for a piano – especially when they are just learning? When I saw this – a full sized piano keyboard– and the fact that it folds I half so that I can tuck it away when not playing – I figured why not give it a try? I am VERY happy that I did. To me, as a novice, it really does feel like piano keys in size and feel while pressing. The sound to me is very nice. It may not be true piano quality to a trained ear but you can probably only get that from actual hammers hitting actual strings. To me, it really does sound great. The extra musical instruments and choral sounds are a nice addition but I really got it to learn piano with and that is what I am doing. The volume adjusts nicely so that I do not disturb anyone else in the house – or my cat. : ) She gives me weird looks as she tries to figure out if I am trying to play music or just make noise...I am just learning after all. I actually tuck it under my end table in my livingroom when not playing and it fits great. I was surprised that it folds (very easily by the way) with keys out as opposed to the keys being folded unto themselves but since I am not traveling around with this thing they should be just fine. I like that it charges so that I do not have to be next to an outlet to play – but was surprised that it is a USB plug and not a wall socket. But I suppose it doesn’t matter as it is rechargeable. I have wanted to learn to play the piano for some time- especially now that you can get lessons online for a reasonable price. Understand- my goal is to learn to play for personal enjoyment- I have no desire to be a concert pianist. There have been two major stumbling blocks to me getting started with this hobby- both of which this basic piano solves! First, most teachers recommend learning on an 88 key full sized keyboard. When shopping for a piano, I found that these can be quite pricey, and I was somewhat uncomfortable spending so much on a new hobby. I would imagine a parent might feel the same way about a child trying out something new. This piano was very reasonable in price, while still sounding decent, and feeling like a real piano- all great for a beginner. Second, I just didn't have the space for a full sized keyboard let alone a piano! This portable option that folds up for easy storage is wonderful. I love that it comes with a bag you can store it in. The piano is rechargeable, so that you can charge it and then play away from a power source for some time. It takes a USB-C charger- the one that is included is somewhat short- but since USB-C is so universal, it is easy to obtain a longer replacement if necessary. There are jacks for headphones and MP3 as well as a sustain petal that is included. The piano itself plays nicely (from a beginner point of view) in that the keys feel natural and are not too stiff. The sound is decent- and the volume from the speaker is loud enough for personal use (plus the headphones jack is there if you don't want to annoy anyone else in the house). A small place for you music is also included- and is detachable. You will need a stand for the piano if you don't have a table of appropriate height. The entire thing weighs around 9 pounds- making it very portable. Overall, this is a great product for a beginner or as a travel practice piano to someone more experienced. It is simple, easy to use, and reasonably priced. I am happy to recommend!

I removed one starbecause when I first ordered this keyboard, a section of the keys did not work. I was able to return it without a hassle(first time returning anything and it was easy). The replacement they sent me works great! I use this keyboard to test out melodies for vocals as I write songs. I am no music snob and don't need anything fancy. This is not a keyboard for professionals to play at gigs, but I love it and it is exactly what I need. I love that it is a full keyboard, can fold in half to store away, and when you open it up for use it locks into place(with a release lever to unlock it). It is sturdy, but light. It comes with a music stand, which is helpful. It is cordless with a chargeable battery. It has an alright carrying case. I love that I can take it anywhere and quickly whip it out and not have the hassle of additional setup.

I’ve messed around with playing the piano for years. What I mean is that I can play some chords and a few songs. But, I enjoy playing for my own amusement and creativity. For someone of my abilities or anyone taking up the keyboard, this is a good unit. It is very light and folds, making it truly portable. This would be ideal for transporting from place to place, like for lessons or to play with a friend, for example. The sounds themselves are what I would call very basic. They are almost identical to a keyboard I literally bought in 1996. But, they have a bunch of options if you’re interested. However, you likely won’t use most of them. It definitely doesn't have a full, vibrant sound. I really like the fact that it has a battery and you can charge it. Again, this amplifies the best feature: the fact that you have a fully portable 88 key keyboard. If you want to play in a band or any public setting, the sound likely won’t be good enough. However, for a beginner or for practice, it’s probably good enough, especially if you need a keyboard that is easily moveable. And, the price is great for that purpose.

Sound wise, the regular piano isn't too shabby I don't get into the myriad of instruments, it has over 100 but...well, I like the piano. If you want to be able to play a bevy of instruments, though, the capability is there. It's RECHARGEABLE, so that's pretty cool, or you can run it plugged in, either way. Does MIDI which is great if you need that. About the only thing I didn't care for was the keys seemed a bit...oddly sensitive? Like, it was hard to get exactly as loud a sound as you wanted...if you play it really soft, it's soft but just a bit harder and it gets like, 2 or 3 steps louder it seems...I don't know, it may just be me, but I think it just has a strange sensitivity - almost like a cordless drill that's supposed to be "variable speed" but it turns out it has stepped speeds, and not many of them? That's kind of what it's like. For a beginner, it's a good keyboard, but the people who will find this the most useful is the folks that are short on storage space or need something easily packable. For those folks, it's pretty recommendable. If you don't NEED a folding keyboard, there are ones that sound better for the same ￡.

Summary: This foldable, easily portable keyboard is a pretty nice starter system for beginners or those like me who miss having a piano to occasionally play. The action is just a little bit stiffer than a piano but workable. The huge variety of sound effects could be fun for a budding creative. The User manual is terrible but not worth deducting a full star. NOTE: This runs on Li-Ion battery, and a charger is not included! The manual implies that a fast charger shouldn't be used. So you'll need to have a slower charger on hand somewhere (like the type that Android phones used a few years ago). When I moved to a slightly smaller home 18 months ago, I bid farewell to my Baldwin piano. By then, I didnt play it a lot - maybe 2x a month - so I figured I wouldnt miss it. But I did. However, there just wasnt a suitable location for a piano at my new home. This keyboard seemed the perfect solution; I could fold it up & store it when I wasn't using it. It comes with a nice carrying case, and was easy to unpack, unfold, and set up. The manual, however, was confoundingly unhelpful in identifying how to charge it, and where to plug in the charger cord. It said to not use a "fast charger" (like my current phone uses), and it said to plug the cord into a place that wasnt there. I finally figured it out, fortunately having an older, slower charger on hand, and let it charge up for 4 hours as the manual indicated. The action is a little stiff, so it was a bit challenging for me to play anything with very many rapidly paced runs. But then this is an economically-priced beginner keyboard, so it isnt fair to compare to keyboards costing 3x that, imo. The sustain pedal is annoying - it slides around and doesn't at all replicate the feel of a real sustain pedal. But again, a small niggle for a keyboard in this price range. I ended up putting a little rubber mat underneath and that holds it somewhat in place. I've been having a little fun experimenting with all the crazy-amusing sound effects, from cathedral bells and reed (pipe) organs to chirping birds, gunshots, and bagpipes. That is a hoot, and I would think a young, budding creative mind could come up with some really interesting new compositions.

The media could not be loaded. I have been trying for quite a few years to refurbish a beautiful piano from the 1920s. A flood and other problems suddenly put this remodel off into the future and I was frustrated. I really wanted to play the piano. I finally decided to settle for this cordless electric piano just until our beloved piano was refinished. HOW THIS COMES This comes with a cord in it for headphones, a pedal, music stand, case, and cord to recharge the piano . PIANO The piano itself is really fun. It is able to be folded which I really love because my small house can not store more really large items. This folds well, packs in the case and can be carried pretty easily. SOUND The reason I got this was not for the bells and whistles, but to just play the piano. I have been pretty happy with the sound, although I have to say that when you get to the B2 and C3 keys, the sound just is not up to par in my opinion. They feel very soft and too quiet. I have tried this at various loudness settings and it just degrades once you hit the high B (B2). For my use, however, it is adequate until we can get our piano done. FEEL The touch of these keys is the closest to a real piano I have felt in an electric version, although admittedly I have avoided most of them because I love the real piano so much. But these are satisfying enough for now. EXTRAS I have only messed with recording and metronome beats, as well as special effects. They are nice, but I just want to play the piano. The acoustic piano sound is really nice so that is what I do most of the time. CHARGING It took a few hours to charge this up originally but it lasts about four or five hours on a charge. I try to keep up on it so I don’t reach for the piano to find it dead and I can’t play it. CASE The case is really nice and it has a pocket for the pedal and cords. PEDAL Honestly, I am not a fan. It is really small and dinky and cheap feeling. I got another nicer pedal but stupid me misread the jack and I ordered a 1/4 inch jack and didn’t realize this one is smaller. THE BOTTOM LINE Nothing can completely replace an original nice quality piano, but this really has helped me to play while I hope to get our piano remodel finished. It has dragged on WAY too long. The quality is pretty good and despite the small cheap feeling pedal, I like this foldable piano. Having it cordless means I can play it where ever I want to. MY RATING Despite the weak sounding high keys, I am giving this FIVE STARS. Maybe it is because I am so thrilled to finally have a piano I can play. It sounds similar enough to satisfy that longing I have had for my piano to be back.

This is a great option for a highly portable/easily storable, no-frills full-sized keyboard. We are primarily using it for my 7 year old as she is dabbling in beginning lessons. We are able to pull it out for her practice time, fold and stow it when done. Nice. It can also be played with half of the keys while folded, by the way. Not a feature as much as something to note, in case that appeals to you. The onboard sound isn't anything special. You do get a bunch of instrument tones, and a bunch of rhythms. But I wouldn't call any of them a winner. But for practice, I don't have a problem with it, and aren't really using more than a couple of the tones. The speaker is lad enough to be heard alone or if accompanying un-mic'd vocals and/or acoustic instruments. Otherwise, there are a few output options here. The most notable being the MIDI. As a controller, this is far more intriguing than as a stand-alone keyboard, so that's a nice bonus. I'd say the keys themselves feel pretty good. Standard size, decent weight/spring, and they are sensitive to touch, I've heard smoother/more nuanced in other keyboards that weren't super pricy. One super cool feature is the USB charging. Works plugged in, but also has a battery, so you can go cordless. I haven't timed the play time, but it's significant (Days and days worth of practices). The case, music stand, and sustain pedal are all nice to have as well. So, this isn't a gigging keyboard, but it is awesome in that it is super portable, does have a variety of sounds (even if they aren't each all that impressive). is solidly built, and provides a decent feel for a beginner to practice on, no problem.

This is a great product - it sounds and feels very good. However, when packed in its bag the on/off button can still be pressed and the piano can be turned on without the owner knowing it. Apart from that, it's very good.

Either way this is great because it does fold and it sounds like a real piano without the space. Definitley worth the money. It has some interesting demo songs but the only instrument sound you get from this is actually piano as far as I can tell. Either way I like it. You can play anywhere.

It's not hard to figure out. I was using it right out of the box without reading the instructions. Buttons respond to short presses and long presses. If pressing a button doesn't seem to do what you want, try a long press on that same button, and then turn the dial to select a feature or change a setting.
