A great simple delay

Small pedal with a large voice. This voice screams bout as loud and dirty as one needs. Or this Blues Drive can quickly and easily go low and sweet, just blend on any level. The EC743 kicked my Boss Blues Driver out of my daily line up along with a few other pedals. Versatile, easy to use and easy on the wallet. The Blues Driver rocks.

Sounds great metal housing low price. Worth the price. Nice blusey sound

My fender amp comes with a good overdrive option, but I wanted a bit more. Works great with my basses, sounds really great with my fretless. As with the other Donner mini pedals it fits so well on the board, great price and fast shipping.

Great little pedals!

Great pedal if you want a smooth blues sound. I'm really pleased I got it.

Great sounds from a bit to a lot of distortion plus the boost switch. The price makes this a no brained....just buy one

I’ve been looking for a blues pedal for years and never thought that a pedal under 50$ would actually create the sound I’ve been looking for since I started playing guitar 20 years ago.

When I received my Blues Drive I was immediately impressed with the packaging. A solid, sturdy hardboard box with a tight fitting hard foam inside. I took the unit out and was again impressed with the solid, quality built feel of the pedal not to mention the beautiful finish!
All that's great, but what really matters is sound, right? Well, in my opinion, it sounds as good as it looks! It has two settings on a switch, Warm and Hot. I like it on hot best but it produces a nice range of sounds in either setting. I already have a drive pedal that sounds almost exactly like this Blues Drive on the Warm setting, so I keep it on Hot and I love it!
I have only two complaints. One; If you want to switch between Warm and Hot modes you have to do it by hand. Two; the "foot" or base has a really nice silicone rubber (I assume) won't stick to the adhesive on the back of the Dual-Lock fastener strips I bought make my pedal board so I had to use zip ties. Both are minor complaints as far as I'm concerned.
A pedal that's this well built, looks this good and sounds like the Blues Drive, at this price point? I'd never have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself! I can't recommend it highly enough. Kudos, and thank you Donner!

Overall a great product. The build quality is amazing, just like on all the micro series, very rugged and durable.
The sound is great for the price, it can be just a small boost or a real screamer.

Compact, versatile, just what I was looking for and priced within my bedget

I am very pleased with my purchase and the quality of the product. It's durable, compact and sounds great. Since then I've purchased 2 other pedals. I will be making more purchases in the future. Thanks Dinner.

Love the pedal and love the price.

Love it. I use it to get a faint distortion and some volume sustain, and it gives me a very bluesy vibe from itself. I tend to keep it dialed in around 10 o'clock. For the price, you can't beat this thing.

Got a ultimate comp instead of blues drive I like the ultimate comp a lot sounds great along with the killer. So with that I guess I am going to have to order a blues drive

This is a great addition to your guitar sound! I was really impressed with the high build quality, and it really does add a super blues feel blues feeling to my playing.

The peal works great and pretty spot on to the BD-2. Great for an always on pedal, boost, overdrive as it works well in all scenarios.

Sorry about the blurry pic. It doesn't sound exactly like my Boss Blues Driver, but close enough!

Beautifully packaged, robust feeling mini-pedal. Giving an authentic bluesy sound which can be wound up to give delicious crunch. Highly recommended.

If you’re after a pedal that will give your amp a kick this does a great job. There’s a good array of sounds to play about with, its built well and it came in a nice box (I do like nice boxes). Overall I’m very pleased.

This Blues pedal give that great bluesy tone without overdriving your amp. great for when you want a bit of bite. The pedal is fully adjustable so you can really dial in your own unique tone. Best of all it doesn't take up a lot of real estate on you pedal board and sounds awesome!

Another great sounding pedal from donner , I own quite a few pedals and a power supply. For around the house or jamming with friends these pedals do the job and always priced well. These may not be on the level of boss pedals but for the price and quality you can't go wrong , I would definitely recommend these if you're like me and just play guitar at home or with friends.Update 11/1 , toggle switch broke and got stuck in one position , contacted customer support and they refunded me even though I was past the return date. I ordered another one yesterday and received it today , this toggle switch seems to be sturdier. So maybe I received a defective one , time will tell. I have 3 other donner pedals and have no problem. I will still recommend donner as long as they continue to stand by their products.

Unboxed it, and it is solid, small, and well designed and constructed. After reading the enclosed pamphlet I plugged it in by itself to get a feel for what it could do. I was immediately impressed with the tones it allowed me to obtain from my guitar, putting it through various adjustments I was easily convinced that it was a incredible value and the best pedal effect of my collection. Put it into the configuration in the photo and continued to be impressed by the versatility of sounds this pedal added. The play list just got a little tighter on those covers!

It’s a really solid little value pedal with some surprising range. I bought it on sale thinking it would be rarely used but it might have become my most-used pedal. Nice tone, very good range, easy to dial in the sound I want. Feels like it’s built like a tank, too.

Donner...everything I've gotten from them has been far better than it has any right to be. The pedals, the cables, the power supply. I am not certain how they do it. My sense is that they study successful pedal designs and use them as models for how their pedals function. Not that everyone in the universe doesn't do the same. But still. Donner is quietly doing a great job.
On to the pedal at hand. Solid, all the knobs are well weighted, the switch feels high quality, and it arrived in perfect working order. The bypass has no negative effect on the signal. When activated, it doesn't have inordinate amount of noise floor. One o'clock on the volume knob seems to be unity gain for my setup, which gives you some room for boost, if that is a concern.
Some have said that there's not enough gain on this pedal, but I have not had that experience. On the contrary, at about 9 o'clock or just beyond (big gain knob), it has a significant amount of gain on tap. It'll put a bit of hair on a clean signal and will take a crunchy rhythm tone and give it a boost into cutting lead territory. The pedal cuts some bass and boosts mids, focusing the sound. To my ear, it makes the tone skew toward a "cranked Marshall" sound. With almost no fiddling, the pedal does exactly what I want, giving a unity-gain option for an alternative sound on both my clean and overdrive channels. Simple, easy to dial in, and effective. And I could buy ten of these for the price of one of my Keeley pedals. Dog my cats. Donner. You done good.
